Istanbul is a magical city with a hypnotizing aura. The colours, the flavours, the beauty of the historical buildings, like the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Top Kapi and the Dolmabahce enchant the visitor. Istanbul is easy to walk around, people are friendly and helpful, weather is at its best in spring and autumn, however, Istanbul is always magnificent! There are so many things to do there and to see that one needs at least 3-4 days just to get a glimpse of what is awaiting!

It is a must-see place, one of the last works of the famous court architect, Sinan. It is also in the the grounds of the mosque that Sultan Suleyman and his wife Hurrem are buried.

In a city like Istanbul, one should not miss the Archaeological Museums, they are fantastic all of them!

After a long, tiring day, a hammam at the Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hammam is a must. Enjoy the luxury, the atmosphere and the serenity of the place, also a work by Sinan, well refurbished. It's the absolute satisfaction!

A huge, beautiful mosque with the most amazing wall blue tiles. Absolutely a must-see!

In a city like Istanbul, one should not miss the historic areas, they are so many, one needs to visit more than once.

A unique place to visit, awesome with the serenity of the water, the beautifully lit area is a must-see for everyone.

The one and only Hagia Sophia Museum/Church, for the Christians and mainly the Orthodox is a unique place that reminds of the gold era of the Byzantine Empire, for everybody though is a magnificent building with fantastic mosaics.

Amazing palace, incredible chandeliers, magnificent carpets, paintings and luxury at its best.

Magnificent mosaics, very well preserved, a true vision of the Byzantine era.

Lovely view of both sides of Istanbul, the European and the Asian side. Take the boat and make the cruise up and down the Bosphorus and enjoy the architecturally magnificent and opulent "yali" (beach houses of the rich).

The first palace of the Ottomans, very impressive in an amazing location with a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus. Don't miss the jewels room!

Very old, traditional, friendly restaurant in the Capali Carsi. Food is delicious.

If you have a sweet tooth, you should not miss it! Amazing, delicious, yummy sweets with lots of pistachios!!

Traditional turkish hammam, a must in Istanbul after a long, tiresome day.

The Old City of Istanbul is full of historical buildings, and it really belongs to the past and the traditional Istanbul.

A good place for local sweets, amazing tastes and lots of pistachios and other fantastic fillings.

Breathtaking view of Istanbul! A very old tower, it is really worth it!

The life of modern Istanbul, where the city doesn't sleep!

A lovely small hotel to stay, close to Istiqlal street , where the city heartbeat is.

Best kebabs, excellent soups and amazing kunefe in reasonable prices.

Taksim is the center of everything, you can do everything, from shopping, to eating to browsing.

Very interesting to see the first Agya Sofia in a small scale.

Amazing work of architecture, however, traffic is always heavy.

Beautiful mosque, not touristic, however, very interesting.
