Where can I see wild flowers at White Tank Regional Park?
We only traveled on the trail to the waterfall and they were just starting to bloom.
On the Mesquite trail there are lots of flowers if you go in about a quarter of a mile. There were also flowers on Goat Camp not too far in. You can actually drive through the park and see nice displays of lupine on the side of the road, and farther in there are hills covered with poppies and some covered with blooming brittlebrush. But with the heat I would go soon. There are also reports of flowers on a flatter hike, Mule Deer, but I did not observe them myself.
We saw some yellow and purple wild flowers and Indian paint brush while walking on some of the trails. However, a local person told us that we were a little early for heavy blooming. We were there 3-4 weeks ago.
