Could you please let me know what is the age limit for the white water rafting?
My grandchild is 7. We had a very experience guide, Carlos and we practiced his instruction on dry land first. We only went over 2-3 rapids which were fun yet tame. (My perspective after decades in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado) Everyone wears very sturdy life vests and helmets, I was not aware of a swimming requirement. In addition to the the other two rafts and guides, there was a man in kayak. My impression was if there was someone overboard between the 3 guides and the kayak-er there would be ample rescue team.
You can read my review, they custom tailored a raft trip to fit our age needs. Senior to 7 in our group.
not quite sure about the age limit, I think it depends how good of swimmer your child is incase he falls out of the raft. In my trip there was a 10 yrs old child. The rafting turned out to be a level 4 trip which was rough in the beginning but then smoothed out later in the 2 hour ride. The child has to be able to use the paddle so that required strength. Child has to be able not to panic and stay calm and enjoy the adventure. Definitely not for toddlers or small children. It was lots of fun though! Hope that answers your question.
