Hi, sorry for not being precise in my posting. Actually the station that is right next to Central Market is called Pasar Seni. It is the Malay name for Central Market. This station is on the LRT Kelana Jaya line. It is one station from KL Sentral direction Gombak. From Bukit Bintang best is to take the monorail. In this case you have 2 options : either you take it heading towards Titiwangsa and you interchange to the LRT Kelana Jaya line at Bukit Nanas (it connects to the LRT Dang Wangi station) or you take the monorail towards KL Sentral and you get off at the KL Sentral terminus from where it is less than 10 mn walk to Central Market. Should it rain you can always interchange at KL Sentral to the LRT for that one station.

Hope my explanations are clearer. Enjoy your visit.

Hi liyana. Just next to the Bukitbintang station are buses (free), that take you to Central Market at regular intervals. There is a tourist information booth on the corner of the main junction next to the metro station. Unless things have changed since I last visited.

The Pasar Seni LRT station is located right next to the Central Market. You may therefore consider the following route: Take the monorail from Bukit Bintang to Bukit Nanas, two stations away. Then a 5 minute brisk walk to Dang Wangi LRT station. Take the train to Pasar Seni, again two stations away.

Travelling by monorail and the LRT are fast, easy and inexpensive ways to travel. You get to know the city better as well!

Of course, if you are traveling in a group, you may like to consider hailing a metered taxi as well.

From KL Sentral, just take the train to the next stop, Pasar Seni. From Bukit Bintang, I am not very sure. I suppose you need to check the train stations/train route (there is a train but I forgot which one).

I go on the monorail from Imbi to Maharajalela station and then walk as I like to go through Petaling Street, but it is a fair walk.

Getting There:

Pasar Seni LRT Station

Here are the steps to follow to get yourself from Pasar Seni LRT Station to Central Market:

After coming down from the platform, follow the signs pointing towards Pasar Seni or Central Market.

Walk down a flight of stairs.

Walk straight until you are at the side of a road called Jalan Tun Sambanthan.

Cross the road.

Continue walking straight, and you will end up in Central Market’s car park.

The entrance to the market should be on your right.

GOKL Buses:

You can take a GOKL CityBus on the purple route to Pasar Seni Bus Hub, which is just beside Pasar Seni LRT Station. It will take around 3 to 5 minutes to walk from here to Central Market.

Timings:

Opens daily, from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm.

You can take LRT Kelana Jaya line from KL Sentral. It will stop just in front of Central Market, you just need to cross the street.

Don't take the KTM, as you need to walk quite far from the station.

From Bukit Bintang take the purple route, free pink bus and get off at Pasar Seni. Central market is just across the road and you can walk to Petaling street in a couple of minutes from Central Market.

Free pink buses are great for getting around.
