What is the difference between standard room and deluxe room
The main difference between budget, standard and deluxe rooms is price and size. The physical difference in the rooms is as follows.
Budget rooms, our most economical, are perfect for guests satisfied with a compact room and window opening onto a light well.
Basic rooms are also compact but slightly larger than a budget, with a window that provides a limited view.
Standard rooms are more spacious and offer a city view for example. In so far as budget, basic and standard rooms are compact so are the bathroom facilities. The sink is in-room with toilet & shower separately enclosed.
Deluxe Queen, Triple, King, and Quad rooms are more comparable in size to a modern day hotel room, offering a city view & full sized bathroom, many with a bathtub & shower. All of our guest rooms feature private bathrooms, cable television, telephone, and WiFi. If a guest has multiple pieces of luggage and would find it convenient to have surplus luggage out of the room, will place it in storage.
As the name suggests the deluxe is a superior class room, It all depends on your budget to get this extra space or luxury and the duration of your stay. If you are booking for a longer duration , you can ask for an upgrade to the deluxe at the same tariff- mostly off-season.
The de luxe rooms are large with separate sitting area. The bathroom is large too, and ours had 3 showers. Our view was lovely, looking right down the river. Lovely view at sunset!
I suspect the answer is a few hundred rupees! I stayed in a standard room which was large enough, but rather shabby - especially the bathroom. Maybe the deluxe rooms have better views or are on upper floors - my advice would be if you're not happy with your room to ask for another one. God luck!
