does the meat taste different than meat from the usa? i was in poland last year and the meat tasted different than American beef.
I have not been to the USA. The steak is high quality beef. They show you the different cuts of meat so you can decide what you want. I would put the restaurant on a par with Gaucho's
The meat at George's Prime Steak is as good as our steak here in the States. I was shocked, so I went back to this place twice. If you're in Prague George's makes you feel like home. -Rodin
As far as I know, only beef from South America is being used. It tastes beautiful.
They claim that the beef is from USA.
Yes European raised beef does taste differently because it is mainly grass fed--as I understand--but this is USDA grain or grass fed beef and should taste like what you get in the USA at the better restaurants. I can no longer eat run of the mill beef in the US because of the antibiotics fed to the beef but this I can. Hope this helps. As an aside even McDonalds tastes differently in Europe!
US beef is superior to other countries' products as it is grain Fed, leading not only to a different flavor, but also to more fat being dispersed within the meat itself resulting in more tender, richer product. All US produced steaks are evaluated and graded - USDA Prime, Choice, Select etc so you know what your getting, USDA Prime steaks are the best and have the highest amount of fat.
Thank you for the answers. I just wondered what was the differences. thank you very much Mary R for explain it.
