Hey, can anyone advise how best to get to the hotel by public transport from the airport? Thanks
I am not sure about public transport. We booked a taxi online. It cost €42 return.
The public transportation from the airport is not easy as "lam6359" described in his reply. Better to a pre-booked shuttle if you travel alone.
The most comfortable way to get to the hotel is in my opinion by Prague Airport Transfer. They meet you at the airport with a sign and your name, take you with a limo to the hotel. You get maps, a good guidebook and discount tickets to various places, free of charge. You book on internet and pay there or direct to the driver. It cost approximate 20 euro for up to 4 persons. The price for this service is like a taxi rid, but much more luxury.
I booked ahead through Expedia. There is a bus 119 that takes you to the metro then you take the Green line to Nemaste Republika. I was warned though that the 119 is prone to pickpockets. So be careful. The hotel itself is above the Pandora store. Or of course there is taxis. Personally as I was a lone traveller I felt safer with the booked shuttle who will wait for you regardless of time and if your flight is late. It cost me £16 for the round trip. Cheaper than taxis. Enjoy Prague it is s beautiful welcoming city xx
