Is it comfortable to travel to the living roots bridge with a 1.5yrs infant considering there is going to be a slight trek?
Also, do we have to buy a ticket? Can we drive or public transport is preferred?
I will advice not to go there with 1.5 year old infant. You have to descend almost 1500 steps through hill. It's steep, and somewhere there will be no handrails too. If you have someone to look after the child for 3-4 hours, you can keep your child in the hotel room and visit the place. Since it is really a lifetime's experience.
No prior ticket is required. You have buy ticket locally before you start your journey.
don't think it is a good idea.... going down is relatively easy but while going upward it's definitely need some body strength...and in monsoon it will be slippery too....
ticket is not needed..
Hi, if you are really comfortable in carrying kid on stairs then you can do that otherwise pls don’t.
I saw few ladies waering saree and carrying kid and going for trek. So it totally depends on your body strength.
It's not advisable to visit the place with a kid as you have to carry him/her and need to go down through steep slope and rough stairs. After the visit, climbing up will be tough with the kid. Although some of the visitors has mentioned about entry tickets but I didn't had to purchase any tickets there. Regarding transportation, you shouldn't depend on public transport and travel there with own arrangement.
It has 300 steps that you need to climb down. If u r comfortable carrying the child, then it is doable.
There is a ticket for visiting Living Root Bridge.By any transport ,one can travel upto a point and afterwards one has to walk on foot.Tickets are given on the route. No problem in travelling with kids.If ,it is raining, then one has to be careful, as some places it may become slippery.
