Is it possible to get a transfer from CDG to Gare St. Lazare without taking a taxi..are there any companies that supply this service?
Let me add that Paris by train on the Net sorts this out - not sure it answers your question.
Sorry missed this earlier, currently traveling in Italy, came from Rome to Florence via Sienna and a lovely hill town.
I’m assuming you’re moving on from St. *Lazaire. That opens a different possibility. How light you’re traveling matters.
There are van services available that will serve specific hotels. Haven’t done this lately and then only going back to JFK early. Your destination may be able to provide a better answer than I.
I suggest Looking at the Train. There is no direct train to *Lazaire but there is a direct RER train from CDG TO Gar du Nord where you can Transfer to a single stop to Lazaire for the cost of a Metro ticket. The RER IS something like € 11. The one station taxi fare wouldn’t be great. Consider what luggage you’ll have to lug either way.
I should mention TGV service at CDG is excellent depends or where you’re going. If I were going to Lyon or Marseilles I’d make the change.
There are private companies that provide transport, but some of the reviews indicated that they were not always reliable. We used a licensed taxi with good results and would not hesitate to recommend.
