Ironstone Gully Falls

A lovely bush picnic area 18.5 km from Donnybrook on the Capel Road. This is an old picnic area which was reserved in 1903 for Capel River settlers as a recreation area. Try this area we went here beautiful, also a long drop toilet.

Gnomesville is in the Ferguson Valley and very close to wellington Dam so there are many places you can have a picnic. Suggest you checkout Ferguson Valley and Wellington Dam on the Internet. You are only about 45 minutes from Bunbury and 20 minutes from Dardanup. The whole area has plenty of picnic spots, eateries etc.

Recommend taking all food and drink for your picnic. We had lunch out of the back of the car at Gnomesville. Did not see any toilet signs. We had morning tea in the Donnybrook Playground and then continued on to Gnomesville. There is a lovely cafe across the road from the playground but plenty of places to eat including the pub in Donnybrook.

There is a picnic table with 2 benches there (no shade if it's hot) and I believe there are toilet facilities at the end of the gnomes nearest to Wellington Mill. I didn't see them, just a sign. I saw a cafe advertised when we were heading to Wellington Mill but we couldn't find it, so I'd definitely recommend taking all the food and drink you want for your picnic.
