Loved the full experience with Norwegian Sun - the locations in Central America were fantastic, along with the amount of time in each destination. The buffets had a significant amount of vegetarian and began options and the live entertainment was fun for all ages.

The food is getting worse on Norwegian cruises. Not as many delicacies like escargot, lobster and good steaks in the regular dining rooms like they used to have. Entertainment wasn't as good as it used to be but still better than some of the other cruise lines. Very disappointed that we could not tender into 2 of our 5 ports because of bad weather. I had heard of other cruises that went into different ports when they knew the weather wasn't good enough to get into the scheduled ports. This did not happen with us.

I was on a trip to Key West and Cozumel right before the cruise industry decided to cancel all cruises. The crew worked 24/7 to keep us safe from every germ that could possibly harm us. All of our hands were sprayed before we went into the buffet lines; and the crew served us. Self-serve was eliminated immediately. I saw the crew wiping down and sanitizing every surface on board, including sports equipment. Services onboard were great, the crew attentive and helpful. I loved my cruise! Housekeeping gets a special shout-out for their hard work...and when the cruises are up and running again, please tips these hard-working people and take the time to thank them personally. Thank you, Norwegian I had a great time!

The cruise was oversold. The service was absolutely the worst. The food if not dining in a specialty restaurant was very bad. The drink package is absolutely not worth the cost unless you like to stand on line for hours on end with a bunch of drunk teenagers. The staff is not as friendly and outgoing and in some cases they just ignore you (sports bar) . The entertainment was not very good. The comedian especially needs to be replaced. To put it I plainly I want my 5 days back.

First cruise with ncl on the Sun to key west a Cozumel. Loved KW, hated Cozumel. It’s a dump and 4 hour tour with Carlos, Inca temple, restaurant and tequila tasting was really low end. Tourist trap. Horrible food, totally overpriced at Punta Morena. Tour guide was just a local, didn’t offer any useable info about the island. Tender is long and tedious. Just some bars and shops. Rest is falling apart. Sad. Food on ship 2 stars. Cold, old, overcooked, lack of flavor, raw veggies, offers are boring and not changing at dining halls. Cabin a bathroom were very clean and pleasant, so was the staff. Very sweet. Lack of organization by cruise line. Never heard an announcement in cabin. Total lack of chaise lounges or relaxing spaces on ship. Nothing shady. Just partying people around the pools. No outside movies. Overall: we’ll stay with Carneval. We expected more, thought we upgraded with ncl. Not so.
