I had no problem with the inside cabin because we were only in there to shower, rest or sleep. I always appreciated that the room steward always addressed you by name and was always pleasant and friendly. The restaurants were superb, with tasty food and always pleasant service. I especially looovved when the servers would break into their performance for the night. I really looked forward to that!!! Since I have been cruising, I have not had a bad experience, and I cross my fingers that I don't.

My cruise was planned for June 28, 2020. I cancelled in March, 2020. This would have been my 21st cruise with Carnival as our preferred line the last 15 years or so. I have never cancelled a cruise but with the Coronavirus and my wife's compromised immunity, her oncologist said no flying and no cruise. I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to go on another cruise again. I tried to get my deposit back but all I got was a script read by their customer relations rep who said the deposit was forfeited and there was no one else to talk to. I cancelled 3 and a half months prior to the cruise and before I made the final payment. The cruise industry must be hurting badly if my deposit is so important to them that they are willing to forgo any future travel by my wife and me. Be careful with whatever deposit you put down because you won't be getting it back. I'm out $679.00.

Cruising on Carnival Fascination, 3/1/20. Guest services informed each guest that since we had to skip St. Lucia because of sickness surrounding the corona virus, that we would each be gifted 200$ in onboard credit. My whole party used that money, then found out on dis embarkation day that there was a mess up in the system and they would all be charged for the extra gifted money spent. Very angry at the communication and lack of empathy for a situation like this. I would not have spent this money, knowing that it was not truly gifted. I am not sure I will sail with carnival again after this experience. Customer service desk did not have the correct answers and has really financially caused an issue for my party and I. Not pleased at all to say the least!! Very wrong of the company and service crew for falsely informing guests.

Just came back from cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and I had to post what a wonderful cruise it was. Before you read negative comments, let me assure that Carnival handled a missed port and health issue WONDERFUL. Before we got to St. Lucia, the captain made an announcement concern a sick crew member. Because of the health risk, St Lucia didn't have the facilities to do the testing so they denied us entrance and we proceeded to Barbados. The officials in Barbados, had a tender come out to check out the patient and do blood work. During the wait time the Prime Minister of Barbados gave permission to the ship to open the shops and casino onboard, which would have normally been closed. Later that evening the Captain and Prime Minister reassured the passengers that there was no risk to the passengers and they were free to get off the ship to enjoy, Barbados. Carnival kept the passengers updated and even gave ALL the passengers a $100 credit on their sail account, which in my opinion they didn't have to do. When you sign up for a cruise, you know sometimes you have islands you can't land on due to bad weather or excursions cancelled. My sister and I have already talked about our next cruise on Carnival.. The crew is outstanding.

I enjoyed the weather and the beautiful islands I went to on this cruise ship. But I was very disappointed in the cafeteria part of the ship. The way it was like a cattle market when getting your food. My husband and I also noticed when the tables were cleaned, that they didn't not use any sprays to clean the table, they used the same dirty cloth to wipe one table then go to another table with the same dirty cloth, so just spreading more germs from one table to the next without actually doing any proper cleaning. After I saw this I did not want to eat again in the cafeteria part of the ship. My husband still decided to have burgers for lunch, were as I didn't. I would just have my breakfast in the dining room and meals in the evening. On the last day of my Holiday my husband became ill with flu like symptoms, it lasted him at least over 2 weeks. Were, he was very weak, and didn't have the energy to have meals on his last 2 days. There was also a lot people ill on the ship with coughs and flu symptoms, we noticed towards the end of the holiday. I notice not a lot is done to ensure people use sanatising gel spray before eating there food, who knows what germs people are carrying especially when they haven't washed there hands.
