Cabin seemed small at first, but come to find out, it is larger than most other cruise lines. In room there is a sofa, pull down bunk , if needed, dressing table/ desk, tv, mini-fridge, large closet with needed shelving. Bathroom tight but has shower w great water pressure. .Lots to do and great shows! We saw Mamma Mia, Singer from Jersey Boys, Diving show and stopped in to hear bands, karaoke.. missed comedy shows. I won a poker tournament-yahoo! I loved the park area on deck 8 with fine dining, shops, bar and then a cafe that’s all inclusive. Families can find hang out area in game room, computer lab, and there is a library. The new port is so wonderful easiest boarding and deembarking ever!

After not going on Royal Caribbean for 15 years I decided to give them a try again. IT WAS THE WORSE MISTAKE EVER. My Granddaughter got assaulted on the Ship and Security on the ship literally did not give a Damn we were told the report would be useless because we were in International waters and no one had jurisdiction except the FBI and they were not going to pursue an Assault Case. I persisted in getting a Report only to get treated as a piece of you know what by them. The report was done, then it took me 3 days to get a copy because everyone Ignored my request. I asked to speak to the Cruise Director, he never showed up, I asked to speak to the Hotel Manager he never showed up and I asked to speak to the Hotel Director, (The main person in charge of everything on the ship besides the Captain) He never called. This ship is a WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. I was Informed by the Head Chief Security (whatever that meant) and he stated that there were several assaults because of a lack of Securities for the amount of people on board. After arriving in Galveston we had the Customs waiting and they too were extremely rude and Informed us that a report would be done but nothing was going to be done by the FBI unless it was a sexual assault or higher. Basically while we were in the office we notice over 10 families that suffered one type of assault or another. I was not aware of how many incidents Royal has every cruise due to lack of protection and securities on board. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR COMMERCIALS THIS IS A HEAVEN FOR CRIMINALS. The whole cruise besides the shows was awful... The dining room served almost if not the same thing that they had on the lunch menu. The Buffet was the same thing over and over again. There were more people eating Pizza than in the restaurants. The staff in the service desk, buffet and even in the Restaurant all had a could care less attitude. I had approximately 10 to 15 arguments because I had a soda package and I didn't like the fountain drinks because most of the time they were flat and whenever I asked for a can they acted as if I was asking for free Liquor. This cruise ship fought with us on many occasions because they did not want to give me a can of soda vs a fountain drink. Yes we are talking about a can of soda that based on the amount of soda's they buy would probably cost the 50 cents at most. This company is charging more for cruises, yet the have cut so may corners and have lowered their standards so much, I guess to make up the loss they had the last 2 years. \I will be going to my congressman to see if legislature can be done to protect our US Citizens from crimes while on the ship. you all should do the same. Don't wait until you get assaulted to do the same.

We took a new year's cruise and had a blast we stayed in the room most of the time but was able to get out on the islands that we visited. Some of the islands would not let us dock do to Covid. We stayed save by masking up all the time. Room service was great and the resturants were alsome.

This was our 8th cruise and 5th cruise with RCCL. Allure was the largest ship we've been on and it did not disappoint. For everyone saying it's dated, we couldn't tell and we've previously been on Enchantment, Monarch and Brilliance of the Seas. Even though she was large, it never felt like she was too big. Our family of 4 loved the Royal Promenade, Central Park and Boardwalk areas. The Boardwalk was home to a carousel, rock climbing walls, hotdogs, donuts and ice cream, small arcade and the aqua theatre. I can't say enough about the show Oceanaria, those athletes are amazing. We watched the show several times and enjoyed their practice too. Our 10yr old had fun with the rock climbing wall and zipline. All of us enjoyed putt putt. We did not do any drink packages and only ordered drinks from the bar, room service or in the dining rooms and were fine. I even had Coke at every dinner meal and was never charged for it despite not having the package. Initially we were booked for stateroom 9718, but upon entering it we were knocked out with a smell of ammonia (literal cat pee). I went to Guest Services and we were moved to another comparable room, 9316 and had a fantastic cruise. Our stateroom attendant Fernando was very nice and accommodating, even if he hadn't made it to our room between us coming and going, he wanted to make sure we were taken care of. Our waiters in American Icon Grill were excellent as well, Bryan and Jun both from the Philippines. I don't expect 5 star dining in the dining rooms, but we were all satisfied with our meals throughout the cruise. I could eat the french onion soup every day. I didn't find any torn carpet or areas falling apart. Sure I noticed some stains on carpet in the stairwells, but that's to be expected with how many people come off/on and you can't bleach everything. We did not get to see Mamma Mia due to scheduling around our kids, but Ice Games was entertaining and again, great talent. The Oasis Class ships definitely raised the bar.

As others have stated this is a ship that is getting dated and worn after years of use. They have coke machines around but expect 50% of them to be broke down at any time. They say no smoking even vaping except certain locations but this a joke. There was people vaping all around me at the pool while i was in a cloud and they did nothing. Good luck on finding a chair at the very small pool also. They say no reserving chair but that is not true. They were all reserved with a towel, book or etc everyday. Again they do nothing. Food continues to go downhill every year I go. Huge drop from my first cruises. The stops are all average at best. I doubt I would get off on any of these stops if I do this again and I've been to them before. Probably about the end of our cruising days unless it improves somehow. I have not tried other cruise lines but maybe I should...............
