Today is day 101 since our July 31st cruise was canceled. 101 days since we requested a full refund! We have gotten a big chunk of our money back but we are still owed over $830! It is completely unacceptable and ridiculous that we are still waiting for this money! They should be ashamed of themselves. This was going to be my first cruise with Royal Caribbean, I will never use them again. I should have stuck with Norwegian. We have called over a dozen times, they latest answer was by September 11th you would have your money back! Guess What? It is now September 13th and we have received nothing. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!

Booked a cruise for family pre-Covid. Used the incentive and credit to rebook- cancelled again, so booked again for third time. After 2 hours on phone last time was assured all credit placed on reservation. Got a final bill notice- which should have been nothing but said I owed over $6,000. Called back and after another 2 hours they figured issue out but could not complete the fix and said I needed to call back again!!!! So far - FOUR HOURS on phone. I asked for compensation for time and response was that they are sorry but cannot accommodate this and if I hung up I would need to start over!!! Spoke with supervisor who echoed this sentiment despite me explaining my time is valuable and this is unacceptable. Will never take a cruise with royal Caribbean again- $10,000 cruise and I am not even worth a cent to them. I am a physician and this would never fly in my practice. If looking to cruise- please choose another cruise line to avoid being treated like crap and worthless. I did inform the supervisor I would be posting all this on all review and social media sites to prevent even one person from wasting thier time like I did.

I had been wanting to take a cruise for a very long time but somehow had it in my head that it would be too expensive a proposition, so had not explored the possibility till we finally made the plan with a group of friends. It was one of the best trips of my life -- and very economical to boot! We had taken one of the outer rooms with a balcony and I have to say that the compact room was so well designed that it catered for everything -- closets with hanging space and shelves, space under the bed to accommodate a large suitcase, sofa, table. The restaurant assigned to us for dining was formal, with a waiter in constant attendance, and the quality of cuisine excellent. If you want to try any of their specialty restaurants you have to book in advance and pay separately for them, but if you don't want to spend the extra amount, the on-the-house buffet offers you such a mammoth choice, that you don't feel deprived. In fact, you can avail of food and drinks at any hour of the day, provided you are on board. Since we got off at every port and returned only in the evenings, we couldn't do justice to all the goodies on offer. Similarly, there is plenty of entertainment on board the ship, so if you don't want to get off and just stay indoors, there is enough to keep you happily occupied the whole day. From various in-house shows including a musical to Bingo, karaokee, paintings auction, to cooking and beauty demos, there is so much on offer that it is impossible to do them all. The staff is courteous and friendly, and extremely efficient. Highly recommended to take at least one cruise in your lifetime, if not one every year -- covid permitting!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE Dear Royal Caribbean - SINK & END I've been on 2 cruises. Both with Royal Caribbean. Over a 7 year period, this company went from a Highly Suggested adventure from me, to a EVERY SINGLE PERSON I ENCOUNTER, I TELL THEM NEVER GO ON ROYAL CARIBBEAN.. EVER. I'm a CxO.. I build companies.. I'm highly visible.. and I know pieces of garbage when I see 'em. Let's COUNT the ways... being the data driven guy.. let's count: Water - no water, unless you pay Liquids to Drink - see water + You must BUY a CUP for the duration of your stay, and hold it like it's a Woobie (Mr. Mom movie reference) EVERYTHING is monetized - EVERYTHING.. This was NOT like this the first time. Room Service Food - which is (WAS) a major reason to go. Example : Nacho - maybe 5-6 chips, and a SMATTERING of some goo..MAYBE.

Don't go on a weekend if you are not a party person. Very rowdy drunk people. We had a nice day in Nassau as we met friends. My husband played golf at The Albany golf course which he said was awesome. The perfect day at Coco Cay was cool and very windy. Lunch at Beach club was great but pool was freezing. The cruise ship was large. The down side is having to walk through smokey casino to get to dining room. Food was excellent. I prefer the smaller ship though.
