The park is nice and big. There are places where you can buy food for your feet or sit in a restaurant. There are also nice shops that foot to both high prices and lower.

Be advised that what you are really visiting here is the excavation site of a late Roman bishops basilica with a small archaeological exhibition attached.
When you enter, you are first shown a five minute film in which a guy in a gladiator's costume reads the story of Spartacus from a teleprompter. The reason being that the Sandanski area is believed to be where Spartacus' tribe settled, although this is nowhere explicitly explained in the exhibition. The rest of the exhibition has very little to do with Spartacus (except for a stone tablet advertising gladiatorial games, which admittedly is cool) but displays a selection of artifacts from the region's history spanning the Neolithic to the late Roman period. The exhibits, mostly from a Roman necropolis, are quite nice, but they do not quite convey the fact that the Sandanski area was home to one of the oldest and largest urban cultures of Neolithic Europe. If you are somewhat familiar with the region's prehistory, you would expect more.
As mentioned, the bishop's basilica is really the star of the museum. A part is inside the building, where you can see a model reconstruction and marvel at some of the amazing mosaics. The rest is on display in a courtyard, which can also be seen (but not entered) from outside. There are no signs or labels outside, so you'll have to make do with the information you gathered from inside, which is a little scarce. I would have liked to have a guide show me around, but I was the only visitor and the staff was busy with administrative tasks.
The labels inside are in Bulgarian and English. The English translations are above average for regional Bulgarian attractions, although they may sometimes be a bit short, and elsewhere too detailed in the wrong places. I took

We found out about Poppin the bow from the woman we were staying in Sandanski. This is the area of Northern Pirin. It is located 18 kilometers northeast of the town of Sandanski at an altitude of 1250 meters.
There you can visit the Yane Sandanski chalet and the most famous Popinolashki waterfall, which is declared a natural landmark.
Poppy Bow is a mid-century coniferous forest and offers a peaceful setting. You can have a picnic or just take a walk and leave registered with auspicious strength. Turn off is the largest, waterless, waterfall
