- Sandra Chuck SHolland, MI11 contributionsWe took the walking tour with guide and she was fantastic. It was interesting and very informative. So glad we decided to take it in.Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- aspiringtraveler2016Detroit, MI26 contributionsWe stopped here on a private wine tour and this was by far our favorite. The charcuterie board was delicious and we enjoyed almost every wine we tried. I’m not a rosé drinker but the frosé was dangerously good. Definitely a must stop!Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Teakwo23Palm Harbor, FL4,667 contributionsVery nice and lots of history. Free to enter but extra charge to go to the top. Nice gift shop and staff. Gets cold in October and windy.Written October 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- MSkinnerSault Ste. Marie, Canada627 contributionsWe were visiting TC for a couple days in early January and wanted to see some vineyards. This was our first stop and it didn't disappoint. Some of us had a wine tasting, and the wines were excellent. Can't remember his name, but our server was great - he had lots of tips about the wine and was super nice. Others had the cider and they were really good. We ended up buying a couple bottles of the cherry cider. Views were amazing, and I'm sure better in the summer. But it wasn't overly busy, so a good time of the year to visit. Would certainly recommend it.Written January 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SororenElliot Lake, Canada4 contributionsThe tour was fantastic, Mike was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire distillation process. He made us feel so welcomed into the distillery, it was very obvious he enjoys his job. Mike had no trouble answering any of our questions. The smell in the rickhouse was absolutely incredible!
We stayed for the tasting after the tour, again Mike's knowledge of the spirits shone through. I named the vodka I regularly drink, and one I don't like. Mike lined me up a tasting of the three types of vodkas made at GTD so I could figure out I like wheat vodka!
We both left with a bottle - cocoa bean vodka for me and silver rum for my friend.
The guys in the tasting room were great as well, hospitality was top notch. They even gave us tips for our adventure to Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Thanks so much for such a fantastic experience - We will definitely be back!Written November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This was definitely one of our favourites. Atmosphere was fantastic. Live music, beautiful views, roaring fire, and excellent service (thank you, Jill). Wine was exceptional, and the food was great (they have a 1/2 off special after 4 that is really a bargain). Will definitely be back.Written January 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sarah KGrand Rapids, MI187 contributionsPerfect spot for young kids. One of our favorite splash pads, and the water isn’t too cold. Shallow beach swimming area is great for kids too. - Ruth HEdgewood, KY96 contributionsWent for a wine tasting and light lunch. The surroundings were lovely and the tastings were fun. Our wine server had a great personality and made the whole experience fun. We had a meat and cheese tray outdoors in this lovely setting. Bought a few bottles of wine and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful setting.Written August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amy MLewes, DE95 contributionsWe spent only one night in Traverse City on Grand Traverse Bay. After arriving, I knew we made a mistake in our planning. I didn’t anticipate loving the bay and the city so much. It is gorgeous and has the perfect balance of beach life and city amenities. The bay was clean and clear with families of ducks swimming around. I would have loved to paddle board or kayak the bay. I rarely want to return to places for a second visit, but I will return to Grand Traverse Bay on a future vacation.Written June 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
