- NatchittychatTampa, FL14 contributionsFun place to visit! The burial mounds were amazing. The museum was just okay. But the church and the rest were very cool. Good for kids!Written August 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RYC88Centreville, VA1,278 contributionsSo interesting to read about Linnaeus' life and his contributions to science. The little museum is informative and quaint. The garden is beautiful, so nicely laid out and all the categories clearly marked made it even more interesting. The orangery has even more information about all the science and it's a little much to read, but there are summaries for the kids that you can read and get the same info! They do have English language tours, but you need to check the web site for the times, as they are not often. A nice spot for an hour or so.Written July 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sebas MBuenos Aires, Argentina125 contributionsQuite a nice and large area to walk around and just enjoy it. It is very well kept and clean, and the variety of plants and flowers is quite nice - it would probably be much interesting to a botanist. The outdoor areas are free to visit, though there is a entry fee to some of the Gardens.Written July 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tangsaiidParis3 contributionsIt is not that big, but if you take the time to read the story of each item and have around one hour to spend, that's the place.Written February 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fiamma11Tysons Corner, VA4,919 contributionsThis large castle is the imposing view that one sees when in the downtown area. It is recommended to visit and definitely worthy of some photographs.Written August 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patrik LUppsala County, Sweden214 contributionsThis is a building with a really beautiful and also there is no admission. You can also use the restrooms (there is one for disabled) for free if needed. Don't miss it if in the vicinity. Actually any place in the center of town would be considered as in the vicinity...
And when there - try out the acoustics in different places of the main hall...Written July 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We arrived at 3:55pm and RAN through the exhibit. (Many thanks to the guys working there for letting us in! We tried to be very respectful of their time.)
Both the Silver Bible and the Carta Marina were very interesting--I took photos and read the information later.
Happy to report the renovation which showed up in other reviews appears to be complete. Only wish I had another hour to spend there.Written October 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a little tucked away from the main attractions in Uppsala with very peaceful surroundings.Written June 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Guy GeertsLeuven, Belgium562 contributionsNearby Uppsala, the country house of Linné, of fauna and flora classification fame. - Arn EStockholm, Sweden499 contributionsOn the upper level, Biotopia has arranged sceneries with stuffed birds and animals, indicating their natural habitats. There are small computer screens to help you identify the animals/birds and get additional information. This part is nice and instructive if you have reached a certain age, but taxing on the small children. On the lower level, there is a play area so the small children get their share too, Special programmes are arranged, when we were there the children could test dying wool with colours from mushrooms. The staff was very helpful. And all is free of charge.Written October 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
