An amazing renovated church from 14 century. I visited it on the third day of my 5 days trip to Thessaloniki. It is high church. It has an amazing freskos. I can see the crypt of Saint Dimitrios. In it I saw fragments from the earliest church variety.

Nice historical information but unfortunately texts in whole museum are not in English. Views are thrilling through the top of the tower.

This is an excellent museum with many top-notch exhibits from ancient Macedonia. The explanations of the exhibits were well written and interesting.

Number one square in Thessaloniki. This is the meeting point in Thessaloniki. Most of the tourists and locals start their walks from Aristotelous Square for White tower area, or for ladadika area or just visiting area to enjoy the nice café/bars that are really good.

We had a great experience. There are many different rooms where and who can learn about different aspects of the Byzantine life. There is also audio guide.

An amazing Byzantine church not to missed when you visit Thessaloniki. Located in the centre of the town easy to access . The frescos and architecture makes it a worth visiting place. One can definitely enjoy the atmosphere of an orthodox church and escape for a few moments from the hot and noisy shopping streets that sound the church.

If you are interested in Turkey at all you must visit if in the area. Its very much a pilgrimage for any Turkish citizen. The museum is in Turkish and English and is very informative. There are many old photographs which are amazing and added to my understanding of what a contribution he made to relations. I learnt alot. Tricky to find but persevere. The entrance may confuse you as it's guarded and fenced off. Nice courtyard garden to rest in and toilets. FREE entrance.

    Booked two tickets online.
You need to open an account and need an ID number.
Not knowing the layout I booked the cheapest tickets at €10 using gate 4.
When we arrived at the stadium I showed the tickets to a steward, he looked at me, then at the tickets and smiled. Gate 4 is for the diehard PAOK Ultra fans.
Although we had seat numbers it was a free for all.
    The atmosphere was great.
I would recommend it but maybe not gate 4😆

This is an active monastery that sits in Ano Poli, high above the city. It offers spectacular views, as well as beautiful buildings.
