- Damian D1 contributionTook my daughters to Stephs Equine in Congelton for there First horse riding lesson and it was superb, We loved every moment and in such a lovely part of the county.
Steph has quite a few horses 10 plus and my girls loved her dogs too.
It was my girls first time around such big horses and i was apprehensive but Steph really put that at ease as her passion for horses is so obvious in everything she was learning my daughters about what they needed to do to care for them. Steph then let them groom a Shetland pony each to start off with, and that was really good for them to lose any fear they had, they spent half an hour brushing and cleaning and they really enjoyed that they had 1 each. my daughters are twin girls so this helped a lot.
Steph had all the ppe they needed for riding and they got to ride the pony, But first they had to brush and groom polly who was a big pony and was more like a horse to me. size wise. But such a lovely temperament. so gentle and not easily scared it seemed.
My daughters got to brush her and clean her hooves paint her nails and how to put on the saddle and make sure all is safe. Steph was very professional and patient and took the time to show all she could.
The girls then got to ride polly up and down the road, which was quite that day so peaceful, they both got to ride up and down the road and really enjoyed the experience from start to finish we were there for a few hours and will be going again i highly recommend Stephs Equine to anyone who would like to take there children for this wonderful experience.

Sadly only a few propped up standing stones remain next to a farm entrance.
No real parking spaces, but being late evening stopped off in the farm entrance - no-one noticed.
No info board.
A little tricky to find, but will worth the effort for the sunset views of the Cheshire countryside.Written 20 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - clotguyCongleton, UK286 contributionsWe visited because of the band that was playing, Circus.
It’s an okay sort of place. But the band were best thing about itWritten 8 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
