    Great for snorkeling and sunset viewing
    Great beach and right next to the town of Las Catalinas. Some good snorkeling near the rocky areas on the left and right side when the wind is low and not churning things up. Fantastic place to watch the sunset too.

    Nice less crowded beach
    This is a nice beach and often less crowded than Playa Danta at the foot of Las Catalinas. It is not as good for snorkeling and not any better than Playa Danta, but a good option to try and to get away from the main crowds.

    You can walk to Playa Dantita from Las Catalinas the hard way or the easy way. The hard way is not that hard, but the path has some elevations and a moderate difficulty hike. The easy way is to follow the cost line along the rocks which only requires a little balance.

    Excellent massages
    I was fortunate enough to stay at Casa Chameleon in Las Catalinas for a week and during my time, I enjoyed three massages from the excellent therapists at Wake. On two occasions, the therapists came to my room at Casa Chameleon and on one occasion, I went to the spa itself. The massages were high quality, the therapists were on time and friendly and Wake Spa was highly accommodating to my schedule and location. The spa itself is clean, quiet and very nice. I can't recommend enough!

    Snorkeling
    Tony took us kayaking and snorkeling and it was awesome- he is a great guide and we had an adventure we will never forget!

    Guaranteed top class diving amongst great crew for an awesome cause
    ConnectOcean crew is great! Very knowledgable, professional and friendly team. Lele, the manager did a great job from start until end. Natasha and Sarah were very helpful and accommodating throughout the dive. Last but not least, “El Capi” (boat Capitan) was awesome, he was on top of his game at all times. The experience was top class!

    Lovely place full of magnificent people
    The Center of Joy has the BEST staff; friendly, compassionate, absolutely joyful and supportive people. I enjoyed my time at the center immensely, and the staff was always on hand to support the activities of my group. The facilities were gorgeous and peaceful, the location was paradise… and I just can’t say enough good things about the wonderful staff!!! They were always smiling, always happy to help, or answer a question, or just be a welcoming presence as we entered and left the classroom. I hope to return for many more retreats at the Center of Joy!!!
