Family fun for a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful scenery. Cave enjoyed by all ages. Staff were lovely. Cafe was very cosy and shop was cute. Would recommend. Upcoming Christmas events seem to be fun and staff were putting lots of effort into making it magical

Second visit here. Icy day so we arrived around 11.20am to give plenty of time to complete the trip before temps drop - plenty of parking available. It is quite expensive for a family but there are a lot of paths/steps/ rails to maintain. Walked with two 8 year olds (they were 7 first visit and did Yorkshire 3 peaks when younger so good walkers but you need to be reasonably fit and sure footed for this walk). Far better in winter than summer when it was like a motorway of people. There was also more water off the hills than in summer so falls more impressive. Without ice would have completed in under 3 hours with a lunch stop but allow more time if icy and aim for warmest part of the day.

Great "Free" cave with waterfall! Not sign posted but not too far from the road, if it's been raining you'll need wellies and definitely a good torch!

Great place after a walk at nearby Ribblehead viaduct. Friendly and relaxed staff and simple set up- booking online helps with avoiding disappointment on busy days and knowing it will never get too busy! Even provided spare shorts for our son who forgot to pack some!

Another lovely village church in the dales. Some beautiful stained glass windows with the star being the Sherlock window. This though is out of sight unless you go through the room at the back of the church.
The name links to Conan Doyle family and their links to the village.

We stumbled upon this place when googling ‘things to do near Settle in the rain’. Had a great time. The staff were so accommodating of our total lack of experience and really good with the children (aged 5 and 11). By the end of the session my 11 year old was scuttling up the wall like a spider (she climbed higher than me!) We will definitely go again.

We were travelling to Yorkshire Dales to explore the places in July 2021, including Ingleton Waterfalls trail. What a pleasant surprise was to find this pearl of Ceramic Art after hours of hiking! The staff man was very nice, friendly and introduced us to the story of Ingleton’s Pottery, also we were very lucky to be at the right moment of new releases so we ended bying plenty of ceramic items - plant pots, vases, lamp stands.. Such a beautiful pieces! Here is a photo of lamp stand , one of my purchases. Highly recommend to visit !

I would never have found this place if I hadn't have passed it in my truck, and what a place, a truely magical alddins cave of all thing toy farm related, things I have searched for, for 20 yrs I found on the self as I walked around the wonderful little shop, all the buildings, live stock, fencing, tools, hay bales, if its used on a farm it was here, and its all at real good prices no mortgage needed, just a large boot to carry everything in
