Definitely this adventure is for those who are physically fit because you are to trek 30 minutes mostly steep going up the hill to the entrance of the cave and 3 hours inside the cave. Then upon reaching the entrance you will go down to enter the cave. The few meters inside the cave is dry then the rest is running water. There are several portions where you will duck, crawl and swim. People with really big body structure is not advisable since there are few areas wherein there is a small opening (see photos). Then you will come out in a small opening. The water is really good and cold inside. You will definitely get wet so put your camera in a waterproof case. Leave all your things, food and extra clothes in your vehicle because you cannot bring them along with you. I have not seen any establishment yet there that caters to your needs like a bathroom to change clothes at least. They also don't have enough protective gears like helmets, lifejackets and flashlights. Yes, flashlights and head lamps are a must. So better bring your own, they do have local guides though (for a fee of 300 pesos). If you want to be properly educated and guided with the tour you can hire or contact a group of professional climbers and cavers. We were lucky enough, because we met some of them when we had our tour there. Their group's name is called "The Core"and they can be contacted in the local government of Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. We were all wet and we don't have extra clothes when we went there because it was an unplanned activity but since our house is not really very far we all just have to endure discomfort for a little while. By the way, there is minimal entrance fee per individual, sorry I forgot but it is around 20-50 pesos or even less. For you, you have the option to change clothes in the nearest "Mangima Resort"which is 20-30 minutes drive from the cave if you have plan to continue swimming in a pool. To sum it all, it is the best experience we had "so far". The cave is really beautiful something you should see in your lifetime.
