What travelers are saying
- Karen HLincoln, NE519 contributionsWe travelled quite a distance to visit the zoo. It did not disappoint. I am a Fiona fan and was happy to see the beautiful hippo area.
The entire zoo was clean, beautiful and lit up for the holidays. All the animals looked well cared for. Staff were encountered were all very friendly.
This is a must do in Cincinnati!!!!!Written 17 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and vibe is amazing. This ball park feels like a baseball stadium.
If you are a baseball fan then make a point to stop by hereWritten 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We purchased the tickets for all 4 museums: Natural History & Science, History, Holocaust, and Children's- all for $25.
We spent between 4-5 hours here, but easily could have spent longer!
The exhibits were advanced and up-to-date. There were fun and interesting things to do for all ages.
As a couple in our late 20's we were worried it would be geared primarily toward kids, but we couldn't have been more wrong! We learned so much and they have great immersive exhibits that were fun for us, too!
I was a little confused why everything was set up in the lobby like a train station, only to find out it used to be just that!
I was concerned that the Holocaust Museum might be graphic, but it was very tactfully done and would absolutely still be appropriate for children. The interactive exhibits in the Holocaust Museum were astonishing.Written 11 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carol M80 contributionsAs the Executive Director of AXYS (genetic.org) I visited the museum with the families from The XXYY Project. The museum made it easy for us to attend as a group.
The exhibits are powerful, emotional and you will leave a changed person. The information on modern slavery is important for everyone to see.Written 28 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was a film giving I form about the story of the signs and collection. It was interesting and really well done.
The signs were awesome. A real walk down memory lane. There is also an active neon business in the building as well. We were able to watch some neon sign making in action.Written 17 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are small parks to walk around the area and look at the view. The best part is that you can walk up the stairs to actually walk on the bridge. The address I used was 100 W Merhing Way.Written 15 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- osuzyqzTerre Haute, IN172 contributionsVery beautiful place. This place was crowded (not overly) and had a lot of school children. It was a weekday that we visited. It was a rainy day, so we basically had to stay indoors. There were so many plants a trees, many of very unusual variety. Very historic landmark. The butterfly room was beautiful and fun, but it closes very, very early. Check the hours for that. Building and restrooms were clean. We would return again.Written 14 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jgbtravelsLouisville, KY3,443 contributionsThis was a daddy-daughter outing to go visit a supposedly haunted cemetery. My daughter’s favorite holiday is Halloween. Is it haunted? Who knows? Still it is the third largest cemetery in the nation. That’s quite impressive. It is quite picturesque and very impressive. Oh, the supposed hauntings? Check out the Dexter mausoleum and the Charles Brewer tomb. And let’s not forget the large number of Civil War dead buried here especially the McCook family.Written 20 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gayle CConnecticut89 contributionsWe walked here from Paycor Stadium. They need better signs directing you to the park, but locals pointed us in the right direction. Beautiful park! Very clean. The bridge to KY was cool. Once you go under the bridge it’s a nice path. Beautiful flowers. Slides for kids. Swing benches that were very relaxing to chill on. Cool sculptures. Wish we had walked the whole park because we missed checking out other cool things. Very glad we checked it out.Written 30 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- osuzyqzTerre Haute, IN172 contributionsWe really enjoyed all of the little shops. There were a lot closed on Mondays, but still enough open to enjoy. There were chocolate shops, cheese shops, sandwich shops, wine stores, and many kinds. We plan to go back next time we are in the area. Reminded us of the Strip District in Pittsburgh.Written 14 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronald KOhio6 contributionsOne word. Fantastic but have to write more. This is a highlight of our trip. Cincinnati did it right. This hall of fame is very nice as is all of great American ball park. Concessions are a lot higher than need be as are ticket prices. Hard to take your family and afford it.Written 25 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sue hicksFort Worth, TX56 contributionsThis is a Roebling Bridge. It was build before the Manhattan Bridge. He learned by building this one. It is amazing to walk across. - Tina M2 contributionsWhile I’m Eden Park I went to the Krohns Conservatory. What an amzing place! Now I do like the out doors but in this place you feel as though you go from rainforest to amazing desert. I was on my way North to skydive, my 3rd jump, so I’m not a person who likes boring things. So make your way to Eden Park and see what you can come up with!!! I wasn’t disappointed!!!Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- wkndfarmCentral MN68 contributionsArrived at the end of mass and were able to slip in to hear the choir singing, the organist playing and soak in the beauty of the cathedral. As the congregation left we were free to walk around the building. We were offered a brochure that allowed a self guided tour - eaves dropped on a few small private groups that were sharing information about the building. Wish a guided tour had been available when we were there - would have been wonderful.
After visiting, we drove around some of the surrounding neighborhood to see architecture of homes and other churches.
I would love to visit again!Written 31 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
