Beautiful Christmas decorations INSIDE. We paid for the trio to see the Elms, Breakers and Marble House decorated for the holidays. Made the mistake of also purchasing the sparkling lights tickets which INCLUDE entrance to the breakers to do that self guided tour. So wasted a bunch of money there. Thought sparkling lights were outdoors only. On top of that, the sparkling lights are pretty disappointing. We are from NY so a little spoiled when it comes to Christmas lights decorations. Skip the sparkling lights. Do the trio tour of the internal decorations in the 3 mansions by day! Save yourselves $50-80! Hope this helps someone considering the website is not clear at all.

We greatly enjoyed the cliff walk. It is fun to see the homes from a different angle. In addition, the views of the ocean are top notch. We parked at Easton beach and walked up, but I’d probably choose a different parking spot with small children-you walk on a sidewalk along a main road. We enjoyed using our phone to scan the QR codes along the path. Each code has information on the homes and different points of interest. 40 steps has restrooms. Be aware that a portion is closed and you have to detour through a neighborhood.

Ocean Ave has some amazing views of the sea. The waves were rough today and crashed over the barrier because of the storm this morning. There are plenty of places to pull off and take pictures. A must see in Newport.

It took my wife years to convince me to visit Marble House, but I have to admit it was totally worth the time. Pretty incredible, from the architecture to the finishes to the town itself.

Each mansion has its own history and charm. After taking the trolley tour we returned to this mansion and For my husband and I this was one of our favorites

Worth visiting to see the fort and the beautiful views of the sea and bridge. There is also a small cemetery honoring those who died in the USS Bennington explosion.

A beautiful setting (those views!) and museum that provided excellent history of the Duke family. Nice, small gift shop with knowledgeable staff. Parking was easy. Definitely Recommend

Beautiful gilded age mansion. The guides from the preservation society were very informative and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous and perfect for some selfies.

The Tennis Hall of Fame is a great deal of fun and worth seeing even if you are not a major fan. You can see the evolution of the game at the museum. The grounds are beautiful as well and worth walking through.

Nice street with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops right by the port. Worth taking a walk through and experiencing the atmosphere.

The guides for the museum are amazing. Fantastic. Learned not just about the synagogue but about the history of Newport. Put this on your list if you are a history buff. It's a wonderful tour.

Great spot along Ocean Ave to pull over and take some pictures. It also has a monument to Portuguese discovery.

It starts as a main street with some shops and restaurants and then turns into a street with some of the nicest mansions in Newport. Definitely worth seeing the start and end of the avenue.
