Basically, just great! The wind didn't cooperate for the raptor experience this time so, the truncated raptor show with only one species (5-6 birds in the family) was very disappointing for the elderly guests after I had told them how great it had been to see 4 to 6 different birds in past raptor shows. It's a no fault but, as we were guests from Albuquerque, it would be great PR if the Museum could offer some kind of compensation, discount, credit, etc., when a major attraction gets skunked by the weather.

Otherwise, a wonderful place overall, worth experiencing, worth supporting. Great zoo/preserve/garden/museum, excellent amenities, pleasant staff, etc.

To me, it was well worth the cost to take the two trams. I could never have done this long uphill hike at my age and infirmity. I was very grateful for the transport up and down, and the moments pause when people were in the way and the tram could not proceed to take photos. We also did the smaller route, then got off at stop 2 and took the walk to the waterfall and then walked back to the Visitor Center. Even in December this was hot, though.

In AZ visiting friends and they suggested this museum. Enjoyed it much more than I originally thought I would. To see history in one place - you look at it differently. There is alot of walking outside - not sure about tram hours.

Tim of Tucson Mountain Shuttle was just amazing. So much knowledge and a clear passion for Tucson and the Mt Lemmon region. I was travelling solo and Tim was a fun, kind guide, sharing his insights and passion for this area. The audio commentary was interesting and despite jet-lag I retained a fair amount! I would highly recommend this tour, my mind was blown by the differing bio zones in a 30 mile drive. Thank you Tim, what a absolute cracker of a morning!

I had seen this decades ago and returned to refresh my memories. It is a delightful, small church with nice alter worth seeing again. We went early in the morning, and there were still many people in the church.

We returned to Tucson via Gates Pass, and it was well worth going this route. The top of the pass has a wonderful view.

We saw the Two Gun McGraw show last night and it was outstanding. A packed house and so much humor made the night an outstanding outing. And the food beforehand at Little Anthony's diner, adjacent to the theater, was a huge bonus. Visiting both of these should be on everyone's bucket list.

Beautiful park with a wide variety of hiking trails for all levels of hikers. Several trails off the main trailhead and two nice trails from the equestrian center. Popular and pretty crowded on weekends. Even though it was winter we even saw a rattlesnake on the side of the trail. Note, there is a $7.00 park entry fee.

Another “find” for us. We had no idea what we might find there but loved every minute of our visit. Lovely paintings by Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia. Sculpture. Whimsical figures and collections of tools and oddities hanging from trees and the cacti. This is a place to spend a lot of time and you need to spend time because there’s a LOT to see. If you go to Tucson, don’t miss this gallery

Three generations ages ten to seventy three fell in love with this beautiful museum. We "oohed" and "awed" all morning as we moved from engaging exhibit to engaging exhibit. We learned and appreciated that most miniaturists work in 1/12 scale. WE viewed miniature displays ranging from a whole house to a single room. Scanning the QR codes at many exhibits provided the option to listen to a two minute narration or to read additional facts about the exhibit on our phones.

Our questions were answered by a knowledgeable docent who also pointed out exhibits we may have overlooked.

Our time spent in this space was magical! We highly recommend this museum to Tucson visitors.

If you love plants, birds or butterflies this is your place. There’s an amazing selection of desert plants and for us visitors from the winter wet Seattle area the variety of cactus in particular was amazing. And the garden has a lovely variety of different garden “rooms”, featuring different environments and plants, not just cactus, with fountains and the sound of water. Lots of hummingbirds and other avian friends as well as a butterfly house.

You will be forgiven for thinking you are way out in the Rincon Mountains away from civilization. And that is exactly what you experience once you start driving on the picturesque, winding road. There are dozens of interesting trails and the visitor reception area is very informative and helpful.
