Absolutely stunning! A must do. We went two days in a row. First day we hiked to Mary Lake and Catherine Lake and was spectacular. Second day we did Donut Falls and hiked to the top of the rocks. Amazing experience. Can’t beat the beauty of nature here. Donut Falls is way more relaxing of a hike but still beautiful.

The temple was covered in scaffolding but visitors could still see how magnificent this building is. We were told construction would last a few more years.

The grounds around the tabernacle and temple are gorgeous!! Such immaculate gardens and flowers. Do enjoy.

Incredible museum, a must-see if you visit SLC. You will not be disappointed.
Allow 2-3 hours. This is absolutely the best dinosaur-skeleton display I have ever seen.

We attended the 30 minute noon free concert. Incredible acoustics! We were treated to the pin drop by the organist… amazing. There were so many helpful sisters on hand throughout the complex to answer questions. Make sure to visit the conference center.

This is a huge multi level indoor and outdoor mall where a creek runs through it. Many water fountains.upscale stores and an upscale food court. Close to the Mormon temple.over 110+ stores. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory.

This was one of the most welcoming capitol building that I've been to in the United States. It invites the community in and has a range of historic exhibits, arts, and exhibitions that share different parts of Utah. You can roam the halls and take in the glory of the architecture. The security welcomes you in for a visit. Go for at least a few hours your first time.

We loved the Utah movies, some of the exhibits about indigenous peoples within Utah, some focus on Mormonism, and the different areas that shared how the capital was built with all Utah-based materials and firms.

Great views inside and outside the Capitol. We were delighted to see that it was picture taking time for prom night and all the high school students in their best dress.

There are probably some places where the history could be bolstered to tell more about the tensions that relate

Stopped here while driving west from the airport. The scenery is beautiful, and it is eerily quiet. Entry is $10. The staff was there, but didn't say much unless you asked a question. Visitor center also has a bathroom & brochures. You can definitely smell the salt in the air as soon as you get out of your vehicle. We visited in early November, so it was freezing cold. Also because of this, the water had receeded a lot, which meant there weren't as many flies buzzing around or bugs in the water. You can swim in the lake, but I wouldn't. Wasn't really much to do, but I was told you can do a boat tour on the lake.

Visiting the Salt Lake Utah Temple was a truly uplifting experience. The stunning architecture and beautifully landscaped grounds create a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for reflection. Make sure to take your time exploring the surrounding gardens, and don’t miss the visitor center for insightful information about the temple's history.

The Tracy Aviary should be added to the bucket list of anyone who appreciates birds. The variety on display, and ability to really see them, is fantastic. There is a Bird Show that is both charming and educational; highly recommended. It was certainly a delight for the children present. We also paid to feed the Lorikeets, which afforded up-close and personal time with the colorful little cuties.

Great for photography and architecture lovers. Park in garage. First 3o min free
Lots to see and experience. Dog friendly

There are alot of homeless people in the salt lake downtown area. And there are lots inside the library.

They allowed me and the fur baby to come in and we took a ton of photos

Do not know what professional photography rules are but I will say this would be an amazing space to photograph a variety of clients

Located across from historical court house. Exterior offers a garden by looks like they are conserving water in a lot of these public building due to the droughts

Staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful

Small stores along side but most were closed

A variety of classes and workshops are hosted looked like daily !!!

Great views at the top! It’s an uphill climb through mostly sandy ground. We did this during the hottest time of day, and there’s no shade, so bring lots of water or do this early on the day. Still, it’s a nice relatively short hike right in Salt Lake City.

Cooler in the am so I took the fur baby to the park for an adventure. Our goal was to walk the perimeter.

There are a lot of homeless encampments but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this historical park.

The trails and paths are wide. Lots of people around during the day

    Public pool and tennis courts
    Tracy aviary
    Paddle boats
Amusement park with carousel, Ferris wheel, yo-yo swing and mini train for quick ride
    Food court
Good pricing considering it’s an amusement park

Lots of great photography locations and ops

    Def DOG FRIENDLY

I had the honor of attending one of the last games at this park before the Bee's move to their new stadium. Seats were affordable, concessions were too - $1 hot dog, in 2024! The team got blown out by OKC but once the game was lost the Bees skipper put in an outfield to pitch who basically made it an unspoken agreement for a home run derby, which was entertaining. The Left Fielder ended up having a lower ERA than the starter, who gave up 7 runs in 1/3 inning! Parking was convenient, ticket counter people very helpful and patient (though they have far too many types of ticket for a minor league ballpark IMO). One word of caution - ignore a text message that you won a door prize, its just a shameless pitch for timeshares.

The building was built as the Hotel Utah, now it is an office builfing.
The hotel opulence is still visible in the lobby and public area furnishings.
The Navoo cafe is on the ground floor and popular with locals and tourisys.
Great place to get a soda after walking around Temple Square and local shipping areas.
