- takao t2 contributionsWe were played together with a couple of guys, who were very nice and enjoyable. The golf course is not amicable for high handicappers like my wife, but interesting and challngeable to me. I would save a few strokes next time if I play as a tourist with this experience I had.Written June 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MWilk101Salt Lake City, UT3 contributionsI have been golfing at Fore Lakes--primarily with my spouse or teen-aged children for at least 10 years. The two courses are seldom crowded and are very enjoyable to play. For an inexpensive, public course, both fairways and greens are in amazing shape. Pro shop staff are very friendly. The Par 3 course can be played in little more than an hour. It is beautiful and relaxing. The Executive Course adds a little more variety, but is still a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours with friends and family.Written September 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigredmachineSalt Lake City, UT2,225 contributionsSince the shortsighted geniuses on the Salt Lake City council decided to close their best golf course (and one of the best in the state of Utah), Wingpointe golf course, I guess this is the best course SLC has to offer in the city. This is not a particularly difficult course, but it does have some nice elevation changes. Greens do run on the faster side and are usually well kept. It is one of the more expensive municipal courses and they do not have the friendliest staff. There are better options in the area; Old Mill for example or Mountain Dell if your willing to drive east towards Park City. They do have an older clientele that play here that are not known for their speedy play. It is worth playing here occasionally, but it's no Wingpointe.Written May 31, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IiwitisSalt Lake City, UT80 contributionsThe back 9 is definitely better and more challenging than the front 9. There is also some shade! The carts are well maintained and the course varies throughout. I think they really overwater bc the amount of divots and the sogginess can be frustrating. The price is also expensive! The snack bar has really friendly employees and has a decent variety of food and drinks! We always enjoy a beer on the patio - with a great view after a game! There is a lot of wildlife also which is cool!Written August 25, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RockymundoSalt Lake City53 contributionsGolf The Round is a great place to improve your golf game. There are 36 heated bays with mats to use in wet or cold weather and two huge areas of grass to hit from the rest of the time. A chipping area along with a well manicured practice green top off the practice choices. I would have give five stars, but the area you hit into on the range is mostly bare dirt. Unfortunate because there are lots of targets at which to shoot.Written June 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BigredmachineSalt Lake City, UT2,225 contributionsThis was our second visit to Glendale golf course and this time we played with a fellow who lives in the golf course parking lot in a U-haul moving truck with two big black Newfoundland dogs. We were looking for a shady place to park and pulled up next to his U-haul where he was sitting outside next to his BBQ grill. As we were getting our clubs out of the car, he came over with his golf bag and dogs in tow and asked if he could join our group for a round. Now, it's not every day you find someone living in a U-haul truck with to giant Newfoundland dogs camping out in the golf course parking lot, so we said sure and we're happy to have him and the dogs along. Not only was the course happy to welcome the dogs out for a round, but they were as nice as could to the four human companions as well. The dogs, which were kept on leash, really seemed to enjoy being out on the course, and were not a distraction in the least. In fact, they were better behaved than most of the golfers in the Men's Association. Its nice to see a course with a dog and people friendly attitude.Written September 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - saphfirebluezSalt Lake City, UT1,409 contributionsDiscourse often backs up and is not well managed the staff doesn't seem to know what's going on half the time and the water around it is very dirty. Lots of beginners play here I'm balls seem to be flying in all directions.Written July 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stevan DProvo, UT276 contributionsWe are not at all happy about losing Wing Pointe Golf Course to budget cuts or FAA policies or anything else. This tremendous Links design has provided memorable Golf experiences for me, my friends, and family over decades. Every hole is unique and challenging. Don't miss your chance to play WingPointe before they closed it permanently at the end of this season.Written September 18, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Clay P1 contributionThe lounge is run by two brothers that are friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is for everyone; you can find both seasoned pros and kids learning the game all enjoying the bays. The technology is the best I have used and seems to get better every time I come in. They are always improving the physics of the game and adding new courses so it will keep getting better and better. Plus they recently added beer to the menu! I highly recommend stopping by the golf lounge. If you are an avid golfer, match yourself up against the best in the world or stay sharp in the winter months. If you are new to golf, come learn a thing or two without losing 100s of balls.Written February 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LodiWineBobOceanside, CA504 contributionsEasy, flat layout. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in decent shape. Rough is rough! Stay out at all costs as can be tough to get out. Not fescue but pretty close. Cheap rates. Good carts. Small and well equipped pro shop. Practice driving area and practice greens. Plenty of parking and relatively near downtown.Written May 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BigredmachineSalt Lake City, UT2,225 contributionsNibley Park is a nine hole Golf Course that is part of the Salt Lake City municipal course system. It is a flat, basic design good for less experienced golfers, or those looking to get in a quick round. Although unremarkable in its design, they do keep this course well maintained. The cafe in the clubhouse makes an excellent garlic burger.Written July 6, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
