He takes the time to show you everything and does a great job making sure you know what you’re doing. All around super guy too. The ski bike was awesome. I injured my foot snowboarding, so snowboarding was out. They take the time to figure out the best ski for your ability preferences and the current conditions. The process is very quick and seamless. We needed to have some work done on some skis, needed some replacement gear, etc. The staff is super knowledgeable and really friendly, they turned things around really quickly, and did it right. - NXTTRPSt. Petersburg, FL2,470 contributionsI own my own ski gear but occasionally I rent rather than travel with equipment. I've been in ski shops from Montana to New Mexico. We chose Ski 'N See due to its proximity to our hotel.
They seem to have a good website for ordering in advance, and, in general, the equipment is adequate. There was just nothing to distinguish SNS as a retailer.
There prices are competitive, however there's not much of a discount in lift tickets compared to buying on the mountain. You can still make it a workout but I liked cruising with minimal effort. I was driving from out of town. I called and told the owner I would be there before he closed at 5 pm, and I did. He said nothing, but left and locked up before 5 pm. I would never shop at Big Powder Ski Shop.
I should have read the reviews: "The owner is an absolute jerk and horrible with communication. . . I found them through an internet search and selected based on economically priced ski rental package. We scheduled pic-up the day before we planned to ski and arrived around noon. I was unaware they we technically should have been charged an extra day for that day (as it was before 4:30pm), but they kindly excused my oversight and only charged us the four days. Our equipment was in great shape, labeled with our names, and held up well on the slopes. I even thought they did a great job fitting me (for the first time, my shins didn't hurt from the boots!). They were quick to fit and process and get the four of us on our way!

Great hikes/scenery, fascinating side-trips and of course delicious food recommendations. All the logistics worked well and we felt like we got the most out of each area but customised exactly to our tastes. We tried to use the website and ended up simply testing different time periods close-in and far-out. Never had any cars available no matter what we entered.
