- S A1 contributionOur guide, Phil truly made this experience special. His love and knowledge of the wildlife and nature of Antelope Island was absolutely awe-inspiring.
Its a nice quiet island and we were able to peek in on two different fields of bison.
Watching the pink and blue mountains change to gray as the sun set was filling to the heart.
Phil, being a treasure of a human being, recited poetry and even played the harmonica as the sun went down.
The best part was experiencing this surrounded by family.

- Cari S1 contributionJust a perfect day. Jen knew where to look for the wild horses. We walked in to be within 100 feet of the herd. It was amazing to be so close to these wild wonderful creatures. Jen was so knowledgeable about the herd and their history. Took some time to get to the west desert and traveled on graded dirt roads, but the scenery was also majestic. I want to go again! From Neal's arrival to pick us up until our drop off, our day was better than we could have imagined. After I booked our day, Neal called to get familiar with my family. As a grandmother, I wanted to give my 12 years old grandson, my son and daughter-in-law a day to remember so I told Neal we were an active family, but not big time hikers or climbers. He made plans that were perfect for us. Also, when I called him last minute and told him my 19 year granddaughter had decided she wanted to join us, he said no problem. Neal was so knowledgeable about all the local secrets and spots in The Arches National Park. Lunch was not your typical box lunch. Sooo good! He was also a great conversationalist and kept us all entertained on our drive from Salt Lake City to The Arches. By the time our day ended we were like longtime, old friends . Also, he took phenomenal pictures for us. Don't hesitate to book Neal and his company, Desert Solitude.
