- Jody B1 contributionWe had a wonderful celebration of Christmas in July on a private sunset cruise with Colton. Getting out on the Lake is a really fun and largely undiscovered local gem.Written July 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wendy HTustin, CA17 contributionsI took the shuttle from Las Vegas to St George Utah. The driver was courteous, the shuttle was on time and the driver cleaned the van out prior to seating the new passengers. It was about a 2-hour drive and it was very comfortable, no surprises!Written October 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tarek P1 contributionSuper slow. Didn’t leave airport til about 30
minutes after we checked in. That’s not crazy,
But then the shuttle does other pickups around at the hotels around the airport before going to Deer Valley. So you don’t actually leave the airport area for a long time. Then they drop
Off the park city people first before deer valley. Would have been way faster and way cheaper to use Uber (I checked). Took so long that I regret not eating the prepaid price of the Canyons transportation and just using the Uber.Written January 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our other transportation was over an hour late (with no time frame on when they would get us, big storm). George came and picked us up in a time of panic when we thought we would miss our flight. He turned a stressful situation into a breeze. we cannot thank George enough!!! Recommend a millions times!!Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KelliSpringfield, PA6 contributionsExcellent. The price was one of the best we found (which is why I was a little reluctant to book to be honest). They were professional, on time and communication was absolutely perfect (received a text the night prior and also as the driver started their trip to pick us up). We used them for both legs of our trip and one was a very early morning pick up. Would absolutely use this company again. We are a family of 6 and had a van pick us up for reference.Written March 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicholas V1 contributionMy driver was professional and communicated through text message. Once we landed I felt confident he was waiting in the park and ride to pick up our family. It was snowing hard but had no issues getting to the mountain.Written January 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan SClare4 contributionsWe needed a ride to the airport when our hotel could not guarantee a shuttle for us.
Called and was guaranteed a ride with a reservation and confirmation- highly recommend!Written August 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I made the reservation online with Super Shuttle 24 hours in advance. I paid by credit card and received a confirmation and a pick-up time. I stood waiting outside my hotel and the van never came!
It was getting close to my flight's departure time and I finally called Super Shuttle. They said they had no record of my reservation and referred me to the local company that is contracted by Super Shuttle Salt Lake City called "Execucar". There had been some lack of communication between Super Shuttle and the local company and apparently the local company had received my reservation but never scheduled my pick up.
I was frantic and asked them to send someone right away to get me to the airport, which they did. They charged me again. The driver got me to the airport in the nick of time. Fortunately my flight was delayed, so I made it. Apparently I was not the only person that this had happened to. Execucar had received reservations from Super Shuttle and had just never scheduled the pick ups, so other travellers either missed or came close to missing their flights as I did.
Super Shuttle had no explanation for why this had happened. They just offered to refund what I'd paid for the original online reservation and seemed to think that solved everything. No apology, no explanation.
The icing on the cake was that when I received the bill for the 2nd charge which I'd had to pay the local company, Execucar, to get me to the airport, they overcharged me. I had to call them to ask why they'd billed me for more than the agreed-upon amount. They eventually reimbursed me the amount they'd overcharged me, but it was a huge inconvenience for me and really a slap in the face after they nearly made me miss my flight. They should have reimbursed my for the entire amount considering it was their error.
My whole experience with Super Shuttle Salt Lake City and the local company they contract, Execucar, was frightening. Execucar seems to me to be seriously incompetent and the very suspicious overcharging which had to be corrected makes me think they may not be 100% honest.
I am an experienced traveler and I have never in my life had a shuttle to the airport just not show up. Or been overcharged by a shuttle company one price quoting once price but billing me another. It was traumatic, frightening and I left Salt Lake CIty horrified.
My advice to to travelers is do not use Super Shuttle in Salt Lake City to get to the airport. You run the risk that they won't show up and you'll miss your flight. Many of the big downtown hotels have free shuttles to the airport. Use a hotel shuttle or a taxi or an Uber instead. My Super Shuttle Salt Lake CIty experience was a total disaster.Written September 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The entire process was easy from the original inquiry to the our final step off of the bus. I worked with Jenny to make all of the arrangements. She was very helpful in the booking. Our driver, Clay, was a gem. He cared for our group for 8 days as we traveled from Moab to Las Vegas. His knowledge of the area was unsurpassed and in addition he was kind and creative. He was always ready to treat the group to a "surprise" stop along the way. Our bus was impecable and his sense of humor kept us all smiling along the way. I know that I'll be using this company again the next time we travel out west and Clay will definitely be our driver!Written June 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jake M1 contributionWe rented the Squad campervan from Native Campervans which we picked up in SLC and returned in Las Vegas. We had the van for almost two weeks and enjoyed our experience a lot. The van operated well with no issues other than some small windshield stone chips.
Native Campervans did a great job of providing information in an accessible, convenient format. We were able to call and speak with an employee a couple times to confirm equipment during pick up and later to have a mileage typo in the rental agreement fixed. Native Campervans provided a website via email and QR code in the van to access all van/trip related info. This was useful and well-organized, however Native Campervans should provide a PDF summary of the web page information for saving to a phone/quick printing for people like us who came from outside the US and were planning to just rely on periodic wifi throughout the trip.
The van itself was clean and well organized with lot's of handy extra equipment including a small brush for sweeping, extra camp stove propane, snow chains, and equipment for changing a flat tire. The bed was surprisingly warm for our cold nights, and the screened side window plus roof vent made for quick cooling on hot nights. Although one small challenge was the short bed, especially for taller people!
We especially appreciated the sleek style of the vans. We saw many campervan rentals from other companies on our trip that I think weren't exactly photogenic (ex. big logos and neon paint).
Finally, the flexibility to pick up and drop off in different locations made for a convenient road trip route and allowed us a few extra stops in places we would've missed if we had end off back in Salt Lake City again.
Overall the trip was fantastic and a big part of that was the low-stress nature of this campervan rental. We recommend looking into Native Campervans for your road trip, and will certainly use them again for our next trip!Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
