- westchicagoCarefree, AZ1,334 contributionsWe spent 35 minutes this afternoon listening to the organist play at the Tabernacle; he played at least 4 different pieces, some familiar and some not. It was a lovely interlude on a very hot day and a nice way to see the Tabernacle. This is a free event and well worth the time. There is a lot of construction in the area so allow plenty of time to find the entrance from where you have parked, if you are driving. From the program, it looks like these concerts will be every day for the rest of the week.Written July 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NoMadsenSalt Lake City, UT733 contributionsI've been to a few shows here like Run The Jewels and Less Than Jake. The acoustics aren't great and lend itself to less complex instrumentation. A great show is still good aside from the sound, so it's not worth missing a gig. Close to Trax & downtown.Written March 20, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shane WWayne, NE326 contributionsI was here recently for a show and was very impressed. The venue is sized just right. There is a not a bad view in the house. The beer selection was very impressive as well. There was a nice selection of craft beer, many locally made. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I am certain to return in teh future,Written December 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AnniK_KSpringfield, MO349 contributionsWe really enjoyed KoM here - the musicians are talented and good with the crowd and the drinks - while nothing special - were definitely decent. Good place to come to on a Friday night.Written June 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James WSalt Lake City, UT1 contributionWe bought tickets 3 weeks ago to Mardi Gras Mambo 2022 through AXS Mobile. When we entered, they informed us that we needed either proof of vaccination or a current COVID test showing a negative result. All three of us have been fully vaccinated, and one of us has also had it. One of us happened to have our vaccination card. They suggested we could go pick up a home test and then take the test in front of them and if it came up negative, we could enter. As we stood there trying to figure out what to do, one of the patrons huffed, opened the door and said, "Okay, let's go!" We've been to many local businesses in the Salt Lake area and have only ever been asked to wear masks. But we drove to a Walgreens to purchase two self tests. At $30 each, the cost of our night out tripled. We opted to bail on the concert. On the upside, it's good to know that the staff at Commonwealth Room have extensive expertise in public health and no doubt saved many lives that evening. On the downside, their paranoia ruined our evening. We won't be back to Commonwealth Room.Written February 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
