The grounds around the tabernacle and temple are gorgeous!! Such immaculate gardens and flowers. Lots of walking paths, very open, a very nice playground, beautiful gardens. It was very nicely maintained and open, and seeing the different country monuments and structures was also interesting. Spent over 2+ hours leisurely walking the many floral lined paths. Areas to sit and just relax and observe the views and the beauty. Observed seating setups for two weddings in beautiful surroundings. - TheLeongOhanaUnited States7,575 contributionsThe City and County Building caught my eye as I was driving around SLC. It was constructed from sandstone and quite pretty with more attention to the architectural details than I expected for a local government office.
It was surrounded by a park like setting with walkways and lots of statues.
