The temple was covered in scaffolding but visitors could still see how magnificent this building is. We were told construction would last a few more years.

The grounds around the tabernacle and temple are gorgeous!! Such immaculate gardens and flowers. Do enjoy.

We were looking for someplace outdoors to go to close to the airport while waiting for a flight. It is a nice hidden gem of a park. Lots of walking paths, very open, a very nice playground, beautiful gardens. It was very nicely maintained and open, and seeing the different country monuments and structures was also interesting. Not sure there were any public restrooms-we never saw them.

Wife and I visited here on a Saturday afternoon. Easy parking. Just $28 for both of us seniors. Spent over 2+ hours leisurely walking the many floral lined paths. Areas to sit and just relax and observe the views and the beauty. Observed seating setups for two weddings in beautiful surroundings. Also saw wedding reception hall being setup that offered beautiful views.

The City and County Building caught my eye as I was driving around SLC. It was constructed from sandstone and quite pretty with more attention to the architectural details than I expected for a local government office.

It was surrounded by a park like setting with walkways and lots of statues.

Lots of paid street parking were available so it was easy to stop and checkout for a short period.
