- KathrinePennsylvania629 contributionsThe temple was covered in scaffolding but visitors could still see how magnificent this building is. We were told construction would last a few more years.
The grounds around the tabernacle and temple are gorgeous!! Such immaculate gardens and flowers. Do enjoy.Written October 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were treated to the pin drop by the organist… amazing. There were so many helpful sisters on hand throughout the complex to answer questions. Make sure to visit the conference center.Written October 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LAW64Tonbridge, UK1,780 contributionsWe really enjoyed visiting the Assembly Hall especially as the main temple is covered in scaffolding and only a very small part of it is open. Some friendly staff explained a bit more about the Assembly Hall.Written October 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MahiMahi77San Diego, CA6 contributionsThis Carmelite convent is home to some of the most kind and gentle souls I have ever met. Every day at 7:30am, Mass is open to the public, and attending here was an extremely inspirational experience for myself and my family. A strong sense of peace pervades the monastery grounds at all times, and it is amazing to visit just knowing that the women there devote themselves day and night to prayer for people all over the world. Also, the homemade fudge and candy made by the nuns, which is available for purchase at the monastery and on their website, is nothing short of divine!Written March 25, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
