I was staying at the nearby Marriott and one of the clerks referenced that there was an outdoor mall nearby. I had time to kill so I went to explore. Actually, it's outdoor and indoor with some nice high-end stores like Tiffany and Nordstrom. I didn't buy anything (other than lunch at the food court) but I got my steps in and window shopped a little. Nice place to shop for those who can afford it.

This Probably was a thriving scene pre-covid. Yes there are alot of empty storefronts but restaurants are starting to pop up. We ate at the Hall, which has about 4 restaurants under one roof plus a bar. The healthy choice had good food. We also ate dinner at Italian Graffiti and really tasty Italian food
Nice outdoor dining tables and good play areas for kids.

A wonderful art gallery. Featuring some truly beautiful art works by some of Utah very best artists. Located in one of Salt Lake City's most compelling buildings the main library.

Chinatown Market is a great place to explore fun, never-before-tasted grocery items! Anything you could possibly want from an Asian market is here. It makes you feel like you’ve traveled across the world without having left home. The restaurants here are also fantastic.

We went to Anthony's Fire Art and Antiques in Salt Lake City.

It is housed in an impressive building. The building used to be the historic Immanuel Church. It was built in 1912 and has three levels and 25,000 square feet.

When one goes to the door, one rings the door bell to be let in.

There is a wealth of antiques from both US and Europe. They have art, jewelry, furniture and many other types of antiques.

Weird art made of recycled materials and trash. Supposedly has a story, but I didn't get it. Decent photo ops, but underwhelming otherwise

Wow this is an amazing grocery store. There is so much choice of foods. Absolutely loved the salad bar and hot food bar where you fill a container and the cost is $9.99 per pound.
The pies were lovely. The ready prepared meals were lovely - we tried the baked potatoes which had toppings for just $4. Sausage lasagna and pasta with meat balls.
The pizzas looked great but we didn’t get to try.
Such a lovely place to shop.
    Staff very friendly.

This place is great, enough stuff to keep you busy for a couple of hours. Easily handicapped accessible through the back door, just ask for help. The aisles and most vendor spaces are wheelchair accessible. Not far from Gourmandise for lunch.

Everyone is so nice! Very fun atmosphere. The outdoor sculpture garden is a very cool addition to the already really cool art inside.

Sadly this place needs an injection of life and stores. Not much there a lot of the units were empty. No atmosphere. We were disappointed had expected more. Thankfully it wasn’t too far from where we were staying. A plus was free parking for duration of time there. Nice original architecture on the building which adds character The highlight was our booked climb to the top of the water tower. Our guide Rich was great and so informative thanks Rich. The climb up was worth it to see the views of the city and surrounding area.

Ahh the old fashioned kind of neighborhood bookstore which barely exists anymore. It is in an older house with books crammed into various rooms. The staff is friendly. It is super popular with the locals. We walked out with two fun books each. I highly recommend this to anyone stopping by the area.
