The music is a little hip hop, pop country at times but it fills the dance floor and gets people out dancing. Band was very good. Bar staff was amazing and clean bathrooms in a bar wow!!!!
Food was very good!!
Only negative don’t order food to table online, order from staff or bar. Online QR code order on table has issues is all I will say.

Large selection of pinball machines, racing games, skee ball, other arcade games…they even have one of those old school fortune telling machines. Good draft beer selection also. If we lived in the area we’d be customers all the time! My husband had Purple Haze Martini, an Expresso Martini and a New York Martini. All were delicious and reasonably priced. The music and ambiance was fantastic. The place was cleaner and more comfortable than we expected, it had a friendly, safe vibe, and the sound system was FAR better than you'd expect in a place like this.
Can't comment on the kitchen or the bar because we didn't eat or drink.

The pro-republic decor is probably lost on most patrons (who knows who Bobby Sands is in 2017) but it means a lot to those who do. A match is always on, good place to pre-game or watch RSL. Jukebox keeps the punk hits rolling. Unlike most bars, the food is excellent. The menu has a nice variety. Even for the non-meat eataers as the veggie burgers are the best I have ever had (try the southwest). I have also had the tacos and they are fresh with a nice kick to them. I have only had beer here and there is a good variety. I can’t speak to the mixed drinks. Thie otter night however we wanted the absentee angel and we were told “that would be a no”. Guess the bartender didn’t want to do his job. Pros, Bartenders were on spot, busy on a Saturday night (Underwear night of course😉) nice sized, lots of eye candy.
Cons, Being my 1st time there I made sure I was in a prominent spot for watching as well as to be seen... Not one person said hi, infact it seemed like people were avoiding me (I am far from ugly and was dressed OK) it just seemed like everyone knew eachother and didn't want to interact with someone they didn't "know". I decided to go out on the patio and sat down....FINALLY a nice guy (Joey) said hi and we chatted for 1/2 hour or so... that was the ONLY interaction I had ALL night.
I decided to leave at 11:45 very disappointed 😞.

Long Beach Dub Allstars, the main act, were not so good, mainly because the lead singer couldn’t sing.
Drinks expensive - $15 for a beer and small glass of house wine. Not rung up on the till and no receipt. Maybe we’ll try an American accent next time.
Worst thing was the smoke which drifted over the whole venue all the time. There was a separate smoking area at the back, half indoors and half outdoors, where the doors to the venue were left permanently open. We were told countless times whilst in Utah that smoking is prohibited in all enclosed indoor areas and outside smoking areas are not allowed within 25 feet of a venue. Not sure how they’re allowed to do what they do.
Even worse was the smell of marijuana drifting over a few times too – we know what it smells like; we live in Manchester! So this club is sailing very close to the wind, to be generous, on smoking laws and also clearly tolerates drugs, as there were two or three security guards walking about the whole time and unless none of them had a sense of smell, they knew what was going on.Written August 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
