What travelers are saying
- Heidi DScarborough, ME316 contributionsWe took the entire day to drive though the canyon as well as stop at the pull-offs and take pictures and take in the spectacular scenery. There are many hikes along the way- some long, some short as well as a variety of difficulties. Take your own food and lots of water as there are not many places to eat. The altitude is around7-8 thousand feet so be prepared. Its cool when it is very hot in Salt Lake City. We drove from Salt Lake City through the Canyon to Midway then to Provo and back to SLC which was a terrific day.Written June 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert BMassanutten, VA361 contributionsWe were a little let down because the Temple itself was shrouded in scaffolding and the square was fenced off. We did get into the Tabernacle and the Conference Center both beautiful facilities. Unfortunately we didn’t get to hear either organ. Still a nice visit. I hope to return someday.Written May 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OG_LANKSExeter, UK36 contributionsAwesome, very interesting and a great way to spend 2-3 hours. There are lots of kids running about, which I suppose is to be expected, so I opted to start on the top floor and work my way down to avoid the crowds, which did actually work.
The exhibits were awesome, especially the dinosaur area.Written September 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Connie EBartow, FL111 contributionsIt is under repair in some areas but we were able to get in and walk around. This is a beautiful Capitol building with so much to see. It was very informative, so interesting to see how many movies have used Utah as there film location. So much history with visuals. Beautiful art work and magnificent history. Beautiful landscapes. You could spend many air conditioned hours here learning and absorbing Utah’s historyWritten September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jennifer W2 contributionsThe horseback trail ride was great! James was a wonderful leader and his horses were so nice. I took my 11 year old who had never ridden before. She loved it and can't wait to go back.Written September 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Selena FSalt Lake City, UT82 contributionsSalt lake temple is a gorgeous architecture from inside and from outside. It is so big and so beautiful. - Greg HFort Worth, TX268 contributionsThe Tracy Aviary should be added to the bucket list of anyone who appreciates birds. The variety on display, and ability to really see them, is fantastic. There is a Bird Show that is both charming and educational; highly recommended. It was certainly a delight for the children present. We also paid to feed the Lorikeets, which afforded up-close and personal time with the colorful little cuties.Written September 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter GraysinpCos Cob, CT169 contributionsI wanted to see the Pink Floyd light show and I timed it perfectly so the acid would be peaking right as the show began. Of course this sheriff dude had to come in right as the show was beginning and I nearly had a panic attack but he wasn't there for us. He had someone's wallet and was asking if it belonged to someone, and then he told a planet joke. Coolest narc ever! So the show starts and I'm getting into the vibes and stuff, when suddenly this douche behind me starts making jokes about Pink Floyd being George Floyd and I thought that was very culturally insensitive. But I practice meditation so I was able to tune him out and enjoy the show.
Great sound and great light effects. I really love it when they blow the fog machine and then shine lasers through it.
They did an encore with Another Brick in The Wall - and of course that guy behind me started making jokes about it being Trump's wall which sucked but it didn't ruin the experience. They didn't throw the foam bricks on us this time. If you come back for The Wall, they'll do that. It's a good touch.
Some of the sounds and visuals are actually a bit too intense for those who aren't seasoned psychonauts, just close your eyes for a moment if that happens.Written September 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was as beautiful as I remembered.Written July 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
