- John Nathan CCebu City, Philippines1 contributionOne of the best beaches in Eastern Samar. Smooth sand and beach water is clean. Worth checking out if you’re a first time traveller in Eastern SamarWritten January 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tom SDenver, CO9 contributionsbeautiful display of the returned bells. the sculpture in the square was also impressive. it's hard for me to understand how Filipinos can be so warm and welcoming when we (USA) have created such a dark history for them. it was long overdue but the bells are finally back.Written October 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wonderer185 contributionsThis island is within 15 mins boat ride distance from San policarpo’s port. I recommend this for family, friends outing. You’ll see rock formation and cave tour. But the most breathtaking is a beautiful sunset and sunrise. You may also enjoy surfing if you have a surfing board. I hope y’all visit this island 😊Written January 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Steven SPattaya, Thailand754 contributionsI organised a tricycle from the Tourism office in Guiuan to bring me here. From what I could make out from signage in the area is that Jagnaya and Yolanda are one long stretch of sandy beach. The ófficial' entry point is at the southern end where you pay 10 pesos. You descend steps to the beach. If you turn right you head around to Locso-on Cave which is accessible at low tide. Turn left and you have access to huts.
Nice place worth visiting for a day out. Bring your beach essentials and picnic lunch and enjoy.Written June 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, the Hagnaya beach or now called Yolanda beach after the strongest typhoon is a 5 kilometer of white sand empty beach. The place has no cellphone signal so it will be perfect to appear in present time whoever you are with.
I brought my tent, bike and some food to eat. Spent an over night and enjoy the endless stars covering the sky. The sound of waves feels like a music to my ears. The place is lovely and feels like it's yours because few locals spend time in their beautiful beaches.Written February 16, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
