I’ve been in Villa Escudero in 2010, 2012 and 2022. No new activities or attractions were added. Same carabao ride, museum self-tour, swimming pool, cultural show and lunch menu. Pool though was improved and expanded. Faster service and better food choices and quality during cultural show. Better photo quality by official photographer. More items in the souvenir shop too. They added a covered dining hall which is nice for those who cannot go down the waterfalls to eat.
But I noticed staff was less friendly and smile less too.

Beautiful place. Nice people. Perfect for those who want a simple but tranquil vacation.

Aquazul offers good room accommodations, though a bit expensive.

Food is a bit pricey for the quantity and quality because the supplies come from the mainland.

No chance to enjoy the sand and the sea because of work. Planning to have another visit to the place.

When my wife and daughter in law decided to visit The Hand of Jesus i was a little hesitant but in the end i was happy with our 3 hour excursion. As soon as we arrived we parked the car and climbed the hill where the giant statue of Jesus stood before us at the top of the hill, with the stations of the cross on the way up the 300 steps. Next we visited the Noah's Ark which apparently is the house of the bishop. It was a magnificent building in the shape of a huge ark with animals in the surrounding area and on the ark itself. Adam and Eve were frolicking around on the hillside and there were many other attractions there too, including a church, a building for healing and several souvenir shops selling cheap religious items.

After 3 hours we were hungry and we looked at the canteen and a couple of other eateries just across the road from the entrance. Unfortunately the food was basic and not really tasty for a foreigner like me.

This is the second stop of our Island Hopping Tour (Jan, 2024).
I love rock formations so I appreciated the view inside the cave. Added bonus of watching bats sleep.

    Notes:
    1. the cave is small so after walking for a bit, there is not much else to explore.
    2. some parts of the walls have been vandalized (etched names, etc). Not sure why people are so stupid to ruin such a beautiful place.
    3. The adjacent Puting Buhangin beach is closed to the public (which we didn’t know when we booked the tour, I thought we would be able to stay there as well).
    4. The other side of the cave (opposite Puting Buhangin) is where you can swim and leads to another smaller stretch of beach (which I think is open to the public) where some boats would park. Our boat didn’t park on that side though so we didn’t get to swim on the way to the cave.

My biggest highlight of Alabat Island is joining YWAM ministries with the Aeta people - beautiful ,very misunderstood people, my heart goes out to them.
Alabat Island has suh beautiful views of nature, the latter half of the Sierra Madre mountains runs through here and you may see the Philippine Eagle and dolphins in the sea at Victoria.

Nice waterfalls that can be taken in after a very short (less then 5 minutes) walk. I think I paid the equivalent of $2 maybe less. Water was cool and there were a few locals swimming. Very safe place. We didn’t climb up but some locals were.

Our Famiky visit to Kamay No Hesus was a very present and relaxing experiance. A very friendly atmosphere with a religious touch to it. Multiple Gift and Food stores also were present along with a Holy Mass for anyone to attend. We hope to go back there again.
