What travelers are saying
- Jill McDonaldPoplar Bluff, MO42 contributionsThis aquarium truly makes you appreciate the life in the waters of the earth. Very kind personnel, amazing exhibits, easy to navigate, very informative, and clean establishment. Dolphin show was spectacular but don’t sit in the closet 10 rows or you could get wet. Ocean Voyager has the largest sea life and the biggest variety of sea life in one tank at the aquarium and the largest viewing window. Was worth every cent of $50/person that we spent with our fam of 5. We even stopped for a snack halfway through our day at the indoor café.Written March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Delores TCorinth, MS1 contributionA friend and I returned and the garden was again wonderfully refreshing R and R as she supports her husband in a very difficult hospice situation. In every season, the garden and its staff never disappoint.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gerald B2 contributionsA birthday gift from my daughter of tickets to Hamilton was a special experience. The Fox Theatre is alway a wonderful place to go just to see the place, then the acoustics and visibility from every seat place it among the top venues in the world.Written February 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miranda54 contributionsWe had a few hours in between other tours so we decided to stop at the world of Coca-Cola! You get s free postcard when entering which is nice. Then you enter a room with a bunch of nostalgia pieces and get a brief history of the creation of Coca-Cola. We saw the vault where they keep the secret formula, got to play a smell/senses game which was fun, and saw more pieces of memorabilia. The best part is the last room where you could try different coke products from all over the world! We tried sprite with cucumbers, a plum drink, Beverly, and a bunch of other things. Overall the experience was interesting and fun. You don't need a lot of time to go through it either.Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miranda54 contributionsWe stopped to see Martin Luther King Jr's birth home. Parking was a little difficult, but we went on a Sunday morning and forgot about the church services. You could not go into the house at this time because they were renovating it. That wasn't a big deal, we could see the outside and the surrounding houses had information to read. We went into the freedom hall and saw some of Martin Luther King JRs, his wife, Ghandi, and Rosa Parks things. Each room had information about each one. The visitor center was closed so we didn't get to see inside. We did pay our respects at MLK Jr and his wife's grave stone. The grounds are beautiful with a lot of information about him and his life and work. Great place to visit.Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Exploration782167Richmond, KY3 contributionsHighly recommend for all adults and children that are interested in civil rights. It is very emotional, and you will need a few minutes to collect yourself and your thoughts when finished. You must do the lunch counter experience but be prepared to cry.Written March 7, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 651MichelleJASouthaven, MS129 contributionsHaving just moved to the area, I’d heard all the rave about Piedmont Park and was excited for my first visit. My son and I parked and walked around near dusk, getting in a good bit of exercise and marveling at how beautiful the park must be when everything is green. We loved walking around the lake and the swimming pool area too. How fortunate we are to have this park in the city!Written December 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sdgibsonlp62Sioux Falls, SD762 contributionsStaying in the area so why not! We were lucky the weather was great. Beautifully laid out and clean. Lots of history to read throughout the park.Written January 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- We Like to TravelColorado Springs, CO171 contributionsWe visited the zoo in mid-Jul, so it was a hot and humid day. This zoo is small so it should take you no more than 4hrs to walk through. There was a café for lunch or snacks. Our highlight was seeing a white panda. I believe there are several, but we only saw at least 2 of them. We have been to several other zoos so each one is unique. We were able to feed a giraffe, with added costs, but it doesn't compare to other giraffe feeding at other state zoos. There was a farm area where you go to see some goats, that is always fun. Great zoo, visiting for the first time can be a great experience.Written March 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelingmomofoneErie, MI227 contributionsWe found ourselves in Atlanta and had the opportunity to see this museum. It’s a great place and well done. My son is a history major and really enjoyed the opportunity to visit. Plan on spending about 2 hours seeing it if you go. The grounds appeared absolutely beautiful but it was pouring rain so we didn’t get to walk outside much.Written March 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vacation063690211415 contributionsLoved this...exhibits for young and old. cyclorama and artifacts--including a train that kids can climb on...toddler storytimes, folk art, a golf exhibit (!), a history of the Civil War, a movie explaining the history of Stone Mountain, a section on the Atlanta Olympics, commentary on women and marginalized populations in Atlanta's past and present, the Swan House for architecture and interior design, a play area for kids, chickens and sheep, and Jenny's for fantastic soup and sandwiches. Spent 5 hours and could have spent more.Written December 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hilary12 contributionsAwesome rotating visits, amazing permanent collection. Something for everyone to see from children (education and play center) to adults, modern to impressionist to African art and everything in between. Takes 2-3 hours to see everything, time slot selection, but give yourself extra time because they usually have everyone out exactly at closing time.Written September 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
