    Breathtaking! The beauty and the scenery on this cruise was off the charts. The whole experience surpassed our expectations and then some. The captain and the crew outstanding. Lunch and the sandwiches were far better than anticipated. Too frequently you go on some thing like that and offers a free lunch and you really wish you would’ve packed your own.

    Amazing way to spend a day
    We took the 6 hour National Park tour on Resurrection Bay and it was wonderful. The scenery was amazing, lunch was nice and the boat ride was really cool. We stayed outside on the deck for most of the 6 hours. I went inside to warm my hands and face a couple of times. Be sure to pack layers of clothing and don't forget gloves, scarves and hats. Bring sunglasses too.
    Arrive early and have time to shop before the cruise. The building has lots of nice souvenir items, coffee, hot chocolate and restrooms. It was enjoyable to sit outside on the deck before the tour.
    I would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Alaska.

    Fun and Informative
    We thoroughly enjoyed our dog sled tour and ride. Our young guide made it fun and informative. Very interesting to learn some of the details about training and racing the Alaskan Huskies. And the puppies were adorable!

    Go in Late April!
    This is a great tour for a lower price than most. Four hours was a perfect length for me, and we saw plenty of wildlife to justify the cost. Sea lions, otters, porpoises, and more! Less likely to see whales in late April- it's a little early in the season. BUT, on the positive side, the boat wasn't crowded at all! I got all the fun of a spring wildlife tour without the hassle of other tourists. The captain was a great mix of funny and informative, the crew were friendly and helpful, and the snacks/drinks were a lovely touch to top off a perfect afternoon.

    Wonderful!
    Gold Panning here was a definite highlight of our trip! The expert was fascinating and a great instructor. I wish that I could hear more of his stories! He was very good with my young son and we enjoyed gold panning very much. A must do!

    Wow what an experience!
    Had a fantastic time going on the 4 hour boat ride. We saw a mom and calf humpback and got in 3 pods of at least 20 orcas. The crew was top notch. A family member got to feeling sea sick about 2 hours in - they could not have been better to help him overcome. Overall a very memorable trip. The seas were rough that day, but the viewing was top notch.

    Amazing
    Amazing tour! The captain stopped so we could see orca, an eagle, harbor seals, sea lions, otters, and puffins. Since the day was calm and beautiful he showed us a few different islands. The glacier is breathtaking! Overall great tour- the 6 hours fly by.

    Amazing
    This was an incredible Alaska experience. The hike itself was beautiful and our guide was helpful, funny, and knowledge. Highly recommend this experience if you’re fit and up for a challenge!

    Awesome time hiking with Liv
    We had a blast hiking with Liv. We did a guided hike up to the bowl outside of Seward, we wanted a guide as we were two young women and I was 7 months pregnant, and given the bear situation and we didn't know the terrain felt more comfortable with a guide. It was totally worth it! We did an all-day hike across several intertwining trails I would not have been able to navigate on my own, with some snow shoe gear Liv provided towards the top. Liv was awesome - super positive, enthusiastic, and tailored the whole experience to us and was thoughtful about my being pregnant. Would highly recommend calling them up!

    Overall a great tour with Amazing Views but VERY long
    Overall a really wonderful tour (we saw TONS of whales and wildlife and the beautiful and spectacular Holgate Glacier!) BUT... the tour is VERY long and definitely be prepared for getting sea-sick. I am not a girl who gets sea sick and it was difficult so definitely come prepared!

    Would I recommend doing it? Absolutely yes! It was so incredible to see the whales and the wildlife in their natural habitat and the beauty surrounding us was incredible and Holgate Glacier on this tour which we did after seeing the animals! It was simply so gorgeous it was unbelievable!

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!!! Righteous!
    We went to see some of the legendary Alaskan brown bears…… and were blown away. We flew out to Silver Salmon and from the start had our eyes on a mama and her yearling. Later on we got to get close and almost personal with some males.

    This was by far the most epic (I know this word is always overused) so I’ll call it insane (in a super righteous, would do it again) trip I’ve done.

    Cedar was our guide and she has more ice than the Matanuska glacier in her veins. If it wasn’t for her knowledge and passion for these majestic beast, we would not have had nearly as good as time.

    This will be an absolutely unforgettable trip for anyone who does this. It absolutely was for us.

    We will look to do the bear camping next time.

    Thank you Kenai Back Country Adventures and Cedar for the most righteous time!

    5 day backcountry trip...yes please
    Did a 5 day backcountry trip and it was great. Fresh snow and great views all while hoofing it in the backcountry. Yeah buddy.

    Dog sledding
    Dog sledding in the trail was so much fun. They let us play with the dogs who were so friendly. A must to do when in Alaska. Great dinner afterwards
