- Jennifer H13 contributionsTulips were blooming in March, so beautiful time to visit. The garden is in a more informal, natural setting. You are allowed to pay a small fee and bring your dog. We had a wonderful time strolling through out the gardens, the map they provide at entry is helpful to navigate the areas. Ample parking and clean restrooms.Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JeannaDallas, TX7 contributionsThis is one of the things I wanted to see when we visited and the chapel did not disappoint. It is so pretty and the light shinning in made it even better. Would definitely recommend visiting Anthony ChapelWritten February 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - saschamcMemphis, TN184 contributionsmy hubby and I came for a weekend getaway the day after Thanksgiving. We rented cabin 12, which is a 1 bedroom and dog friendly. We brought our Blue Heeler.
The cabin was great. It was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. It was very clean and the bathroom and living room were very spacious. Awesome big shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The deck was very close to the lake and we really enjoyed the view and the quiet.
We did the Falls trail. It was well marked and the dog had a blast. The falls were really roaring, since it had just rained, so that was cool. Trails were all well marked and it was definitely moderate, not easy, just like the sign said. We did the Strunger Creek trail before we left too, and it was paved, level, and easy. We had a great time. There’s no restaurants or stores close, but we went to a Walmart Neighborhood Market and it was only 20 minutes away. Downtown Hot Springs was about 25 minutes away. I saw deer every night, right off our porch, and along the hiking trail, so would definitely recommend keeping your dogs on leash! It was a nice time and a pretty place. We would definitely come back.Written November 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It becomes clear as to why this was part of the health and recovery regime of the times. Just a great place to either listen to nature on your walk or find a good tune and put your music while relaxing and taking in the sightsWritten December 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sunshyne_DaySeguin, Texas184 contributionsThis was so much fun and very interesting. We had a lovely lady give us the 'tour' and she pointed out and explained all the detail of the huge train display.Written November 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Noel78Tennessee608 contributionsThere were excellent offerings at this small market in January. We bought sourdough bread, fire cider, mushrooms, herbal tea and eggs.
There were crafters with lovely knit and crocheted items and handsome cutting boards.
We enjoyed our stop even though we’re off season right now for a lot of fresh foods.Written January 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jandpvmTrenton, TX6 contributionsThis place was fabulous. If you’re looking for a treasure to bring home from your Hot Springs visit, definitely visit here. When you pull in, it looks like you’re pulling into someone’s house, but go on up the hill and go in. You won’t be disappointed.Written June 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
