The space at Philadelphia distilling is really cool, the food and drinks are phenomenal. We’ve taken the distillery tour twice and have enjoyed it both times. Great value and interest for the ticket price; appreciate getting to taste their products and the pre tour cocktail.

If you like touring distilleries make it a point to stop by when in the area. Their whiskies are good. I would pass on the rum and mezcal. Their canned beverages make a perfect picnic drink. They tasted good and not to sweet as some canned drinks are. People here are nice too

Hannah, Kris, and Zach were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. Don’t miss visiting one of the smallest distilleries in the US because it won’t be small for too long! We had a nice sampling of all of their spirits - I was a big fan of the pineapple rum and my partner very much enjoyed the birch flavor in the From the Woods whiskey. We also tried a blueberry gimlet while waiting for the tour to start and wow! Check this place out immediately!

We had so much fun spending our evening at Stateside. We arrived before our tour to grab a drink and take in the atomosphere. The bartender was very nice and gave us some great recommendations. The tour itself was very informative and it was great hearing the whole story of Stateside. Overall we’d definitely come back again.

South Philadelphia's Rum distillery making a variety of handcrafted, small batch rums. We offer tours, tastings, mixed drinks, and bottle sales. Come stop by to learn our story, sample the spirits, & sip on a mixed drink. We have a beautiful spot in a shared courtyard with outdoor seating and games!

I planned a bourbon tour with a girlfriend as a gift. I put a LOT of thought into walking distance, etc, choosing what worked in the time we had. I planned lunch around getting to the Rowhouse for the tour and tasting. Their website says to check their event calendar, because if there is an event, no tour. I checked, nothing was listed. You guessed it, I got there and they were setting up for a party and there was NO tour. I was told that I could still have a tasting at the bar. The bartender did ask if we needed any help selecting items, but that was the extent of the "tasting experience". Once poured, he never gave us any description if what we were drinking, history of the place.. .nothing. instead, he had a long and loud conversation with a couple at the bar re "where is the best pizza". Completely ignored us until I flagged him down with a specific question. My friend summed it up best "I kinda feel like since we came here for a tour and tasting, he should be paying more attention to us". The cost of 2 flights, I think $30, was not in any way an "experience". The building was lovely and it could have been very special.
