Amid the bustle of the city, Central Park offers everyone the opportunity to just slow down and bask in the sun. Lots of lawn to picnic, track for cycling and lots of paths for meandering around and just think. The imported beer at the Little cafe off of the baseball fields was perfectly chilled too!!

I especially enjoyed the tranquility of the Sanctuary and sat on the beautiful benches every few minutes.

This and the whole area is an awesome tribute to the people who lost their lives in an awful event. You will easily spend 2 or 3 hours here. They cover the event and the stories of various people from various perspectives in an interesting and informative way. It was very sensitively done. It was a sobering experience and I found it quite emotional at times. Highly recommended.

My husband, daughter (15), and I spent a few hours at The Met and loved it. There is so much to see, I know we didn’t see it all. There is a wide range of exhibits and art styles. All three of us would visit again and recommend allowing at least three hours minimum for your visit.

This is a must see in NYC for me. This is an oasis in the busy city and gives a wonderful respite. We walked the whole length but there are plenty of places to get off and on.

Absolutely amazing! The talent is unbelievable, and the storytelling is genius! The band, the dancers, and the actor playing Michael were just incredible. This show is amazing.

We booked the top of the rock for 7.00 on a Monday evening. Queuing to get in was simple and efficient. No problems going up to the lower viewing platform. There's a cafe to buy food and drink if you want. No problems going up to the top viewing platform. It was fairly busy, but you could get to the edge and take in the view, with a bit of patience. Top of the Rock gives great views of the empire state, central Park and the south of Manhattan island. Highly recommended. There are plenty of places to get something to eat in the Rockerfeller centre.

We did the bridge on a Sunday late morning in May. I recommend getting a ferry from Manhattan to Brooklyn and walk back. You can get great views of the Manhattan skyline and the bridge on the way over, and then it's a nice walk back. Plenty of photo opportunities. It was crowded when we went, but it was midday on a sunny Sunday. It can be tricky finding your way onto the foot path, if you don't know where you're going. There are plenty of street vendors at the Manhattan end for drinks, icecream or food.

My visit to the Statue of Liberty was nothing short of spectacular. As a beacon of hope and freedom, the statue rises majestically above Liberty Island, offering an unforgettable sight to all who gaze upon her.

The journey began with a scenic ferry ride, filled with anticipation and excitement. Upon arrival, the statue’s impressive stature and symbolic presence took my breath away. The views from the grounds and pedestal were picturesque, providing a unique perspective of New York City’s skyline.

The museum offered a deep dive into the statue’s significance and the incredible craftsmanship that went into its creation. The exhibits were engaging and educational, highlighting the statue’s role as a symbol of democracy and its impact on millions of immigrants who arrived in America seeking a new life.

The building is open to the public and worth looking around even if you don't need to catch a train! Aside from the architecture, there are lots of shops and places to grab something to eat, from a full meal to a snack or just a coffee.

The best views we found were from Ellis island or Brooklyn, just south of the bridge. Get the ferry from Manhattan to Brooklyn and walk back via the bridge.

This is a must if you're doing New York for the first time. Lots of people, lights, places to eat and drink. You can spend time here (any time of the day ) or just take it all in as you pass through.

A much enjoyed trip. No ticket needed - just turn up and board. Boarding looks mad with the queues but was easy both ways - plenty of seats available and some fabulous views. A must I feel.

One of my favorite parks in New York. You can find an activity every weekend from 7 to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday. You can have a great time with the Bank of America's organization. Has a picnic area.

We didn't have time to go to the Top of the Rock, sadly, but had a wander about which we enjoyed and got some food from one of the restaurant on the lower floor, Was nice to sit in the outside seated area that had a lovely atmosphere.
