This memorial was incredibly touching. I spent 3 weeks of training in WTC south tower in 1998. I was overwhelmed by the mass amount of space where the towers once stood. It was such a time of destruction, fear, and sorrow. The living tree is also really special and the story is so moving.

Buy tickets online for quicker entry. So much to see with beautiful paintings and artifacts! Make sure you have at least a couple of hours but really need more to see most of everything.

A beautiful building with a fascinating history and stunning architecture that makes a grand impression! I stayed in a hotel nearby and couldn't resist walking through the station at every opportunity. The windows, chandeliers, and arched halls are incredible. It's hard to believe that the main concourse walls are made from artificial stone that had been molded and tinted to simulate French limestone, which is used in Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, the Statue of Liberty's base, and the Empire State Building's lobby. If you're in New York, add this to your bucket list of things to do – you'll have an awesome backdrop!

Stopped in on a stay in NYC. My wife is a book and movie nerd and LOVES this library. She has never been here and cried when we arrived at her Mecca. I was skeptical but not so much once we went inside. This place is amazing! The architecture and history is unbelievable. We self toured the entire place for FREE and loved it all. If you’re in midtown this is definitely a must see. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing Museum. This museum puts DC's Smithsonian to shame. Such great exhibits and amazingly presented. Not sure if its because there is a fee to enter compared to Smithsonian, but $100 for a whole family is not much and you can easily spend most of the day in here. We were her in the summer and it was not that crazy busy.. first you need to avoid the long lineup at the Central Park door and go to the back where there is never a line.. Also, the parking below is easy and cheap and it saves you tons of time walking around.
Kids loved seeing all the places that were in "Night at the Museum" movies and just an overall great place to spend a day.

Been there many times and always look forward to my return. The peaceful atmosphere adds to its beauty as does all the altars and statuary.

this was worth the walk through visit. Some variety in shops but a number of places to eat as well. We snacked at Berlin Currywurst. The guys who work there are friendly enough. Not sure it was the greatest sausage ever or the greatest beer on tap or wine for Happy Hour, but it was all good enough.

The tour was really good, our guide (apologies I've forgotten his name!) set out to make it fun and I think he did a great job of that - even if most of it was bickering with the kids about basketball players/coaches.

The venue is really cool, the variety of events they host is interesting and how they always have ice under the main floor ready for ice hockey kinda blew my mind.

Anyone visiting New York City who is a die-hard fan of "Home Alone" can remember this place. It was my first stop when I was in Manhattan.

This place was amazing. Very moving and really well done. Very respectful. Can't believe I got to hold things that were kept from 9/11. Highly recommend

The Met Cloisters is a hidden gem located in a picturesque setting over the Hudson. Easy to get to by car, it contains treasures from medieval Europe and the story of how they were obtained is fascinating as well. It's a great way to spend a few hours away from it all.

The most articulate and knowledgeable guide ever. Elaine was our guide during the "After the Famine" tour. She started with the root cause of the potato famine and subsequent immigration to the US. She illuminated the socioeconomic externalities that impacted the lives of these individuals by telling the story of one family and their life experience. It was an incredibly well-researched multi-level presentation that was informative and provocative. Thank you, Elaine.

This is an amazing collection, three magnificent Vermeer's kick off the visit, intimately displayed in room of their own. You can visit the whole museum in 1-2 hours, so you don't get overfed with art. I actually enjoyed this more than the big ones.

The exhibits are interesting and interactive! Very creative fun place. We added the 4 D movie. $5 was worth it. When you see the white steps and mouth, that’s the ladder to the slide! So cool!
