We almost lost our voices from all the "oohing" and "ahhing" at the dazzling lights of Times Square! Between snapping pics with costumed characters (we may or may not have slow-danced with Batman) and stumbling upon historic landmarks, this place was a whirlwind of unforgettable (and slightly overwhelming) experiences. 10/10, would recommend earplugs and comfortable shoes!!!!

Think Broadway. Think Cabaret. Broadway or Broadway Theatre is a theatre genre that consists of the theatrical performances presented in 41 professional theaters, each withs 500 or more seats, in the Theatre District and Lincoln Center along Broadway, in Midtown Manhattan. It's what New York City is all about. Broadway and London's West End represent the highest commercial level of theatrical entertainment in the English-speaking world. But here's an interesting trivia note: While the Broadway thoroughfare is closely identified with Times Square, only three theaters are located on Broadway--Broadway Theater, Palace Theater and Winter Garden Theater. The rest are located on the marked cross streets, extending from the Nederlander Theater one block south of Times Square on 41st Street, north along either side of Broadway to 53rd Street, and the Vivian Bennet Theater at Lincoln Center on West 65th Street. The Theatre District is a major tourist attraction, drawing 15 million people and paying over $1.8 billion in one season. My wife and I contributed our share by managing to secure tickets to see the newest version of the 1966 Tony Award winning musical Cabaret at the August Wilson Theater on West 52nd Street. As an added attraction, take time to visit the Museum of Broadway on West 45th Street. Open to the public in 2022, learn the history and experiences of Broadway theatre and its profound influence on shaping Midtown Manhattan and Times Square.

Saw Wicked and it was amazing! The seats are a little small if you are on the taller side. Everything else was great. Will definitely be back to see the show again!

We literally followed the music. We could hear the most amazing soulful and powerful music and we had to figure out where it was coming from. We only stayed for a short time due to time contraints, however was well worth a visit. The spiritual music was truly beautiful and awe-inspiring.

The Broadway theater on Broadway is spacious and beautifully and ornately decorated. It is a wonderful setting to enjoy a show - I saw the Great Gatsby - superb!

I just have to give a BIG Texas thank you to the gentleman at the ticket counter on July 11th! We had tickets for 1pm and I had it in my head it was at 2. We got there late and he did a miracle for us to be able to see it that night in a similar section! My mother would have been out so much money and he was so kind and only gave me a little bit of a hard time, haha. LOVED the show (we saw MJ), the theater was very nice with bathroom attendant and all. It was a highlight of our trip that we could have easily missed!

I must admit when we were deciding what Broadway show to see, this wasn’t my first choice. However, my daughter wanted to see it and the reviews were so good, we decided to do it. It’s very expensive to go, as were in the balcony, not in the center, and still paid almost $250 per ticket before all the other rip-off fees and taxes. The theater is in the heart of Times Square to get to, and once nice thing is despite the size, getting in was a breeze and I was afraid it would be a long wait because as we walked around Times Square, we saw many long lines waiting to go to other shows. We didn’t get any drinks, as the cheapest mixed drink I saw started at $18.

As for the show itself, it’s around 2 ½ hours, including the intermission. The actors do a wonderful job and even though I (and I’m sure most) of the crowd knows the story, they still did a great job in keeping you in suspense on what is coming next. There are many funny moments, and they even snuck in a reference to IKEA in there. The special effects they had were great as well.

I definitely would recommend saving up your money and going!

Saw Lion King. It was amazing. Bought tickets off of Broadway Direct. They seemed to be the cheapest I could get at the time. All of us enjoyed everything about this experience.

We saw Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The show was fantastic! I cannot wait to go back and see another Broadway show. We had seats in the area of G 17- through 23 and the view was fine for us. The seating is tight.. just small seats and not a lot of legroom. So if you’re a tall person, you may want to get an aisle seat.

I saw a matinee at the Winter Garden Theatre. The theatre itself is very good but the ladies rooms need to be renovated. Also the ladies rooms are on the same level as the entrance and consequently the line during intermission extends to inside the theatre!

Loved the show. Staff were friendly. BUT if you are female be quick to the loo queue or be prepared to miss the beginning of the second half. ENORMOUS line (& the theatre was not even full). Not what I expected after buying a ticket at Broadway prices.
