It's the largest cathedral I've ever seen. We stopped after seeing this huge building to take some snaps of it during the city tour.

Lovely grounds to wander around if you are in the area. Guided tours are available but I didn't do one of those. Worth visiting for the beautiful St Paul's Chapel (NOT the one in lower Manhattan) which has a stunning ceramic tiled domed ceiling.

This was my third visit to NYC, but the very first time I've visited this memorial.
We did it after our Harlem tour, as the memorial is at the western Harlem, by the Hudson river.
It is set in a beautiful park, with a calm atmosphere. The tree arched walkway made a spectacular site while approaching it.
However, we were disappointed finding it closed due to Covid ??!!

Riverside Church is a magnificent structure and an inspiring house of worship, especially when they have the handbell and choir concerts. The Church is situated adjacent to a park along the Hudson River offering a wonderful sunny day outside venue.

I think I sat in a daze at this place.

I have been a Seinfeld fan for 30 years and to finally stand outside and see this place was a bit of a thrill I won’t lie.

So the inside looks nothing like it did on the show, assuming most of that was filmed in a studio but nonetheless, the outside did and there was loads of Seinfeld memorabilia inside with photos of the gang being at this iconic place.

We had breakfast there and it was actually really, really good as well!

This strikingly beautiful statue is a perfect injunction for peace in this chaotic times. It's located in a small green space right next to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and is a good place to sit, take in some greenery, and enjoy some quietude. I love coming here with a bagel to eat, or just to enjoy the flow of people. This statue is super detailed and should be studied at leisure. This statue isn't nearly as well-known as it should be, which is unfortunate, given how many people go through the cathedral.

Nestled right next to the footprint where the twin towers once stood, this chapel holds a lot of history. More of a museum than a chapel, but a great place to visit when you are visiting the memorial.

A historic church, the place of baptism for Thomas Merton and Terence Cardinal Cooke, Corpus Christi is a great church. Fr. O'Reilly is a wonderful priest, knowledgable and giving. Recommended for those near Columbia and on the upper west side.

My wife participated in a week long educators seminar. I had the pleasure to share a couple of the sessions and a dinner with the class. The people at JTS are warm, inviting and awesome.
