Charles Street
#40 of 158 Sights & Landmarks in Boston
Not only does this street have great Victorian architecture (people come from all over the USA to view) it has some great little niche shops.
Beacon Street
#48 of 158 Sights & Landmarks in Boston
This part of the street offers fantastic views of Boston Common and the downtown Boston skyline.
Was well worth it as it was close to a lot of historical sights.
Nichols House Museum
#51 of 158 Sights & Landmarks in Boston
Located on Beacon Hill, it's near the State House and other historical sights, with a fabulous resteuant, nearby, Carrie Nation.
The window off of the stairs was especially lovely in the rain, with a view of trees unfurling new leaves and flowers dotting the street beyond.
The Vilna Shul

I highly recommend this site, which will take only 45 minutes at most to tour.
