Quincy Market was a place that we came every day on our recent trip to Boston. It was only a block away from our hotel and had everything we needed. It had a ton of different shops for souvenir shopping, every kind of food imaginable for a quick meal, both indoor and outdoor dining, street performers for fun entertainment, and places to grab a drink. It is just a wonderful place! It is typically quite crowded, but we were always able to find anything we wanted quickly!

Nice little historical stop along the freedom trail with some shops inside. There are a few exhibits explaining the historical significance of the building but it's mainly shops. We got most of our Boston souvenirs from here. The main market building is next door. That's where you'll find all the food and many more shops. Nice for a quick stop but really crowded.

The shopping is eclectic here, with a mix of high end designer stores, but enough mainstream brands to make it affordable. Nice clean centre, walking distant from the main Boston city centre, and plenty of pubs and restaurants along the same street.

Much better than Faneuil Hall for a place to eat lunch. Its maybe half a block away but air conditioned with places to actually sit and eat your meal. There are maybe a dozen or two restaurants and also some other vendors. There is a farmer's market outside in the street. Its expensive but way less crowded. I had a mediocre sandwich at the Bagel Guild. Again, we weren't really here to have a good meal, just a place to stop, use bathrooms, sit in air conditioning and have some fast food type meals. There are lots of different vendors, so everyone can find something nice to eat. They had a worker who went around cleaning up the tables so its much less dirty than a food court.

My wife, daughter, two friends and I visited the Copley Place Mall in November 2021. It was a nice mall to walk through. We arrived at Boston Back Bay Station and you can enter the mall across the street. You can walk through the mall and then cross over a footbridge to the Prudential Center Mall.

Even though the vendor offerings were smaller than expected, I was attractive to what was available. Local farmers, bakers and tasty treats await you. You can fill your shopping cart with weekly fresh produce and breads knowing you are helping the local community.

This major artist community was a great find while exploring Boston. Home to artist studios and galleries, give it a try. Check out their website for up to the minute events. If you are in town for their First Friday's activity, the next one is scheduled for August 5th, 2022. Doors open to the public for this activity from 5-9 pm.

I know the gallery from their excellent website but visiting and seeing their large collection is a treat.
