The variety and quality of epicurean delights are beyond compare! Arrive hungry and leave satisfied with a smile.

When we visit SF, we try to come here for ice cream, usually a hot fudge sundae, which we shared this time. At an outrageous $15, it was a true guilty pleasure, but we enjoyed, so what the hell. We walked to the park ( National Park, no less, well less, actually ) across the street so we could look out on the water while we indulged. By the way, it's the excellent fudge that makes this truly worthwhile, although they were a bit stingy on it, this time. If we had more time, I would like to have explored the complex, it was already dark and we had a long walk back to our hotel. The funny thing, I don't think we ever did step into the complex in our visits there. What a waste.

It's all dressed up for Christmas and thus a lot of fun. As pretty as ever, just not as busy and lively with so many stores closed. But you can still do a lot of shopping the the hotels around are festive.

We live in Marin County north of the Golden Gate Bridge but go here all the time as I used to live in the city.

I meet friends there, take my husband and college grad son there to get flowers, my veggies and Schiabica's California oils, especially their Mediterranean Medley!

Then we have lunch at one of our favorites, Hog Island Oyster and get spices at Stonehouse California Olive Oil and Acme bread inside the Ferry Building.

I take our dog when we can sit outside. How cool to see a guy recently propose there with his and her family. Lot's of applause!!

The Westfield Centre is a massive shopping plaza in downtown San Fransisco. It has all of the big name brands within. Good place to shop.

Wasn’t quite what we were expecting but we had fun nonetheless. A decent assortment of shops, lots of restaurants, but dingy and stuffy. Some shops had good prices while others were very high. Daiso was probably the most fun place. Worth an hour or two visit if Japanese shops and food is of interest.

Nordstrom is an excellent chain and a great place to shop. The San Francisco shop is downtown and in a nice old building. Worth a look.

It's a wonderful community resource, a place to buy good food in a neighborhood that lacks good grocery stores. Prices are low, everything is fresh. And it's out in the open air. Unfortunately the market competes with the decline of the neighborhood.

I did work here one time and way back then the shopping area was full of stores and the bars and restaurants were full after work. Times have changed and a lot of the shopping is gone. The architecture is still iconic. The lights at Christmas are special.

I enjoyed a nice shopping trip to Nieman Marcus in San Francisco. It is close to Union Squrae. Since its the holiday season, they were starting to put up their holiday decoartions. Staff is nice.

I was visiting San Francisco again and wanted to bring my husband here to see all the variety of flowers that come through the market. I loved visiting here on my last trip and knew he would be as astonished as I was the first time I saw it, so many things we had not seen before! The area has declined some since I was here last because the homeless population has exploded since the pandemic, but it is still 100% worth a visit, and if you like you can get yourself some beautiful flowers to bring home or back to your hotel room to brighten it up, they also have a lot of potted plants and party items.

Kind of old fashioned these days, this is a classic department store on Union Square. 8 floors or so of shopping. It was quite the mad house on Black Friday. They have a discount store on the 8th floor that reminds me of a Walgreens, would skip that. SantaLand is on floor seven. Both designer and more affordable clothes and housewares spread throughout. Some nice deals in each of the clearance sections. They have a pretty good, but crowded food court.

A quality store with many of your favourite brands. Although they come with a price tag, the products are typically high quality that don't wear out within months. Nor are they over the top fashion that need to be replaced by next season's new fashions.

I saw the photographs of the rock stars from the 60's, including an upstairs pass to the orginal Abby Road photographs and more recent "pop" and political icons. The gallery staff were pleasant and low key with no pressure to buy. We were allowed to simply enjoy the display. They said they frequently handle this type of material.

This mall definitely wins most improved award. On a Sunday afternoon the mall is crowded and vibrant. Mostly mainstream Mall stores, but a few unusual places. If you're into pokémon, there's an entire store filled with pokemon. The gadget store has the best selection of phone mounting devices I've ever seen, including amazon. And the food court, although almost exclusively Asian food, was decent. The mall appears to be clean and all of them all patrons are wearing masks, even though they don't have to.
