Mokuleia Beach Park is a great beach for relaxing and watching kite surfers or sky divers and gliders which take off from across the street at the small airport.
Awesome kite session at Mokuleia Beach park, locals were nice to tell me about the terrain and conditions.

As you walk into the park, you see broad expanses of grass, with scattered shade trees and picnic tables for family outings.

On the west end of the park you can swim and snorkel in relatively calm waters protected by a near shore reef.
The beach park is a great place for watching sunsets and maybe even spotting the turtles coming up on the beach.

I would recommend this location to anyone who is environmentally conscious and just want to experience nature in its natural habitat while enjoying a relaxing day at the beach.
The water is spectacular, it's fairly easy to find a place to park and it's the perfect beach to set-up for the day.

Beautiful beach with great day to jump off the famous rocks into the crystal blue water Best to get there early as parking is a premium and if you have to park up top is a fait trek to get in and out with your gear
If the Beach Park is full, you can park for free at the Catholic Church just east of the Bay - look for the large square Italianate tower - it's a landmark.

It's an off the tourist "Must see" maps of attractions located east of Waimea Water Falls, which in itself is a nice hike and nature preserve.
Located on Oahu's North Shore, this small rocky bay forms part of Pupukea Beach Park and boasts blue water and an impressive amount of sea life.

So, if you are on the North Shore, grab a late lunch, early dinner in nearby Haleiwa and then get yourself up to the shoreline at Pupukea Beach Park and settle in for the sunset of a lifetime.
We recently did a dive here in the "Cathedrals" section of the park, which was incredible.

Ka'ena Point State Park Waianae 12.5 km away

The walk in along the ocean was pretty amazing, but for me what made this park great is the albatross and other wildlife at the end of this hike.
If you love nature, and want to see a natural phenomenon that very, very few people ever get the opportunity to see, go to Ka’ena Point.
Banzai Pipeline Pupukea 12.6 km away

The most unique thing about Pipe is that you can park your car and walk right up to it, and see amazing waves.
It showcases the beauty of nature, and the natural environment the surf community reside in and partake of.
